I am from England my wife is from China . Before we married I occasionally used to stay in a hotel in her home city as there was no room for me to stay in her parents apartment. One morning I opened my eyes and there sat up in bed to the left of me was another man! (Yeah I know, stop laughing and keep reading!) He wasn't Chinese but he had a sort of Mediterranean look about him, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian say , olive skinned, straight collar length black hair and he was wearing a short sleeved white T shirt , the sleeves ending in a definite ribbed pattern. He seemed to be staring at the TV on the wall opposite (Which wasn't switched on BTW ) Bleary eyed I must have said something like "Eh, what the hell...? " blinked and he'd totally vanished! I don't mean run out the door either or jumped of the window, no time to do that and the door was locked and I was a few floors up) and there had been no sign of another occupant in the bed . I still can't explain it to this day. A dream? No, I am the sort of person who if I have a dream the previous night , I know I have dreamt but I can never recall any of it, but this was so vivid and I can still remember all of it, his appearance, clothing etc.🤷

When I was around 10 years old, I opened my eyes and my grandmother who had passed a few months before was laying next to me. I was not bleary eyed; I was totally awake. She was sleeping and as real as anyone could be. I stared but wasn’t frightened, as soon as I was about to call out, she disappeared. Totally believe your experience.

A few years ago, Ive lost a friend of mine. A few days after his death, I was sleeping and woke up in the morning, turned around and he was next to me. But I swear to you that I wasnt dreaming. Then a few seconds later I woke up again for a second time the exact same hour, turned around, and there was another person next to me(the one I dated at the time). I was so shocked and was trying to understand what had happened. Something else that happened more recently, me and my lost friend used to play the bass. So there was a time I was coming back from my class and felt someone holding my bass case and pulling me back. I turned around and there was nobody. I also have strange dreams which I see him, and although its soothing and relaxing, its so realistic. The conversations, the sceneries, even the people in the background. If there is another universe, I strongly believe that he is still alive, and if what Ive experienced was a glitch in the matrix, I truly hope is gonna happen again

These first 3 stories are reminiscent of a Spanish woman Lerina Garcia Gordo who woke up in a parallel universe - this one - and remains so to this day . Her home and job similar but not identical to the one she knew. Her partner never existed in this timeline. This was the only documented case of this I knew about. Her story has been around some years and is covered on You Tube. Lerina is still alive and well, yet to date she has not written her book and no film has been made about it. I wonder how many more there are ?

I saw the highlights of a soccer game on KZbin roughly four hours before the game started !The quality of the picture was very bad . I then was confused when I saw a second highlights of the game later in the day. I knew the score and who scored the goals four hours before the game ! Where did that KZbin film come from ???

In 1988, I was driving across Quebec, when I saw a sign for downtown Centreville. I didn't think much of it, until I saw another one several miles down the highway. This kept on for hours; sign after sign for downtown Centreville. I felt much the same way as the last story, until I realized the signs were bilingual, and EVERY town had a downtown/center-ville!

@@GG_11_11 The other was better I am afraid with what is going on in this one and I am trying to figure a way back. My husband says that maybe our old world was destroyed ..but this one is far crazier then what we left. The whole thing was so bizarre and we have told people about it but doubt if they believe what we have told them. Not great changes in our personal lives although the week following this change my mother died in front of us...Pete lost his job and his computer business and we were forced off our property and now living down in the southwest. The big things has been with the political fever in this country..I still cannot believe what is going on here and abroad..it was never like that...I find that it is all so crazy and have a hard time sleeping at night.....Going through it up in the canyon was just as weird and crazy . Was like living through a dream in a way so surreal...we do not take drugs or even drink...and what happened we both lived through and experienced.

I'd refer you to the book Man & Time again by JB Priestley. Chapter 8 he analyses some of the many letters he received from paranormal experiencers. One story concerns a man in a restaurant and a waitress holding a jug of chocolate sauce. He sees her drop it, it smashes. He looks up again and the jug is still intact in her hand. Then she drops it for real. This incident though seemingly trivial in itself turns the man's life upside down as he contemplates the nature of time and our understanding of it. As if time 'burped' randomly repeating itself.
