It's all your decision dear. Only you know what led up to his abandonment of his beautiful family. I wouldn't deny him visitation rights, but he has to contribute towards his children welfare. I would not allow him to live in the same home with you & your grandfather, if he cares & is serious he will work to emprove your living condition. Time will tell.

Hello Ly i hope and pray you and your children stay with grandpa. You seemed so much happier living in that magical place instead of that hell house with that horrible hateful mother in law. You should sit down and tell your husband how his mother treated you and the baby. Don't let him take you and the kids back there because it will start all over again with his mother abusing you and the kids. When he was gone for two years did he ever write you or send you and the baby money? Be careful with him because if you go back home he might tell you he leaving again then you have to live with the wicked witch again. Please stay with grandpa he loves those beautiful children and you. If you decide to go back to your husband just be careful don't let him make you unhappy by forcing you back to his mother. I would just let him come and see what he wants and then be very polite even though he was a big jerk and then he will go away and leave you alone. Tell him that’s what you want. You don’t want to see him around anymore.
