My Husband’s Surprise 40th Birthday Party

7 years ago while living in Delaware, I had this desire to throw my husband a 40th birthday party in our backyard. We had no house at that time but the dream was if we got to buy a house before his 40th, I would. We’d met many young and level headed couples who were home owners there and I strongly believed we would have ours with somebody too. Who would have thought we would end up living in our own home for 6 whole years before this day? Oh God is Good!!

Sis, to be honest planning this party put me in a very reflective mood. I thought several times about the heights Kay has gone for me, and to be honest, I realized how many things I’ve taken for granted. So yes, planning this party was emotional for me…and editing also.
