It's actually the best vertical out there and that antenna on 75 m will outperform a dipole up at 60 ft on 75 m. That vertical actually outperforms a lot of antennas out there in the market I have one and I've compared it with my yagi on 20 m on the transmit and the vertical actually outperformed it you can get rid of the electrical static vertical noise by using a coil that's made to be connected from the positive lead of the antenna directly to ground and you can get it from array solutions.

Congrats on the Hytower. Always thought it would be cool to have one of those but, like you, most say the trouble is almost not worth it. It's still cool looking, though.

Thanks. Antenna is still working well months later. 73

That antenna is extremely worth it to install it and it will outperform any 75 m dipole put up at 60 ft

DX Engineering has a huge 80M mono band vertical you'd love if your goal was improving 80. It's 68' tall and around $500.

Well, I was intrigued by the whole antenna and just figured that 80 would be a bonus. I have a caged dipole I built that performs well on 80. But that mono band vertical looks interesting

Hy tower should destroy the Hustler on 20/15/10 . Maybe those trees are effecting it's performance.

Yes David Ray I tend to agree with you. Next spring I think I am going to do some more investigating as well as add more radials. Thanks for your input

@@Flip2Flower1 Great video AND NOTHING wrong with the sound! these guys complaining do not have 'ears" so to speak. I bet they are not even "Hams", LMFAO I am considering this antenna for my station in me new location, Pahrump, NV! *******How hard to Ground? AND TRUST ME, THE TREES ARE "NOT" AFFECTING PERFORMANCE! ITS "HF", if it was VHF then thats a different story! Thanks in advance, 73 DE KD6SBR, Tom in Pahrump, NV
