I've had one of these since release in 2005. Binding starting to come away on the edges, probably going to hang on to it since they're so rare. Good luck with the listing I hope you get as much as possible.

I love the sound of those pickups in the 7 string jems. not only did Steve vai utilise them but also korn and morbid angel I believe.

If I remember rightly the Bad Horsie came with DiMarzio Breed humbuckers rather than the usual Evolutions. Lovely guitar and lovely playing.

Sweet guitar! I love Steve Vai and the Jem and Pia are both fantastic. I had to sell white Pia though because I just couldn't feel mentally comfortable playing it. It was just too much flash for me. I had to sell it. I think I might be more comfortable playing a black one. It's weird how a guitar can be the greatest instrument yet its appearance can affect your psyche. A lot like a nice suit. It could be a 5000$ suit made of the finest linens, but if you love wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt, you will never be yourself while wearing that suit. - now, I love a very nice pair of blue jeans and a fine cotton t-shirt 😊. So, I took my Pia money and bought a Caramelized Ash Guthrie Govan Charvel... much more comfortable for me, personally. Best of luck with your auction!

@@AlexHutchingsMusic it is very nice. It doesn't do the buttery flutter of the Ibanez - nothing flutters like a perfectly set up Edge ,imo. But the sonic pallete is impressive.

DiMarzio Breed bridge pickup is very silky!😊 I highly recommend for legato lover guitarist.

This model shouldve had a mirror tree of life inlay. Wouldve been amazing. Sounds great, but a broom handle with 1 string tied to it would sound great in your hands.

It was a damn shame it didn't even have the normal tree of life, but obviously what Steve did to his with the LED blue inlays is pretty badass and worth doing if you own one.
