I was ecstatic when I first got my sound to work in OS/2 Warp 4. After about 15 minutes, I wished I didn't. Almost everything you do makes an annoying sound. I know IBM was trying to be ambitious, but wow did they go overboard. I know you can turn a lot of it off, but it doesn't make it less annoying. Great video, BTW.

Sorry for the lack of videos lately. I've been away from home quite a bit and next year will be the same case. I'm gonna try to pump out some videos but expect videos either once a month or once every two months.

I can remember doing this many times in the late 90's......... Yes, I am older (54), and a LONG time user and lover of OS/2. Ford used OS/2 a LOT through out the 90's and early 2000's. Like your channel BTW! Patrick

rly nice machine, how decent is the dos emulation on it? i’ve vaguely head some os/2 compatible machines run dos and win 3.x programs better than others but there seems to be conflicting info abt it

I'd sub to a patreon if it meant you would be able to post install tips / guides for certain warp versions. I got 4.52 back on my 600 with sound but none of the neomagic drivers I find work. I think kev009's might but I haven't tried. One thing that's weird is the graphics without the driver are kinda "chunky" looking. I might make a video on it or at least cover my meager thinkpad collection.

@@os2kouhai331 As soon as I get at least one warp set up completely with software suite and/or I get a panel replacement and hinge for two frankenpads. I have the 6.x.x linux kernel compiling on my main T60 this is rough but still easier than warp!
