@@kajalmahendru6607 does they ask about why you want to chose iit delhi or any question related to what do you want do as research..eg superconductivity at room temp or so?

No but in iit roorkee they ask me why u like quantum mechanics and condensed matter physics...then i said that in bsc 2nd year we have quantum mechanics which i develop my interest in..in 3rd year there is condensed matter...so i feel they r interconnected..so i have studied tht theoretically...i really wanted to do experimental work in that.... moreover they ask me any application where condensed matter and quantum mechanics is there....i said quantum computer and spintronics....in iit delhi the panel i got just ask technical questions as shared 😇

NPTEL videos from Prof. G Rangarajan and Prof. Parthap haridoss for solid state physics......Prof. V Balakrishnan for quantum mechanics are the great source for interview preparation

I have not done any msc project....but for exm and in general i follow puri and babbar book....and aftr that charles kittel plus nptel lectuers of metallurgical-physics of materials by parthap haridoss sir

In iit delhi phd admission form, what one should write in " thesis title" section when one has not done any project in his /her msc ? And this sec. Is mandatory to fill in form Plz guide asap

Hi.. actually my SOP was not a good one to be honest because I dont have any research experience or msc project which I should Flaunt in my SOP 😁... actually in IIT roorkee there is no need of SOP...in IIT Delhi u need to upload it but nobody talks about ur SOP if your interview is good...but definitely I will share my SOP

@@piyushpandey7377 well it depends on gate score...Like in iit roorkee 720 was cutoff for condensed matter phy...for IIT delhi ~650....for iit ropar gate rank >1000 and so on...so like below 500 rank is safe side
