Ehh, I'd leave it...It's an automatic speed governor! You FEEL like youre speeding but youre not really. Win win!

Taller tires or bigger wheels like if you went from a 16 to a 17 it’ll throw off the Speedo, same this is happening in my is300 I have 18s in the back and it shows like 5mph more

Hey, I find your car videos very interesting. Currently I own a 2004 LS430, but would love to drive one of these Celsior's, or even a 400. I have been looking around for the models with the wool seats. I think they would be more plush than leather, plus they don't make the loud rubbing noise of leather seats. In Australia, I am unsure if the Celsior can be imported anymore, they were definitely available for import in the past, but regulations have been updated. I see a lot with low mileage on the Japanese market, around 40,000 to 90,000 kms. How much maintenance would even be required for a 25 year old Celsior, with mileage like that? I'd assume the bushings would be done and need replacement.

If the car has abs, check if the abs sensors work

My 1991 Toyota Celsiors speedometer doesnt work at all, but thats fine I just drive along with traffic.

ECU/Cluster capacitors need replaced. Known if they don't get replaced they will cause these issues. Aftermarket/upgraded tire size can affect the accuracy of the speedo if it's not calibrated too.

@@robertgardner4508 nah, I have many ECUs on standby, traded them out couple times it’s probably just the speed sensor.
