What type of Drumsticks did you use on the ear mix part
@thatasianguitarguy3 жыл бұрын
I'm kind of blown away that your mix is this minimal. I totally get the function of it, and it makes a lot of sense. I'll have to try this next time

Love the vids. Got my acoustic drums taken away at church cause we couldn't afford a booth and mics, so you're vids give me flashbacks from my good old days with my baby😁😆

im having a problem trying to record on a P16, because i need to have my earpieces a lit bit louder because the sound of the drum still leaks a lit bit in my ear, but when i try to record it, its too loud for my phone, so the quality’s horrible
@DanielBernard2 жыл бұрын
Are you using an iRig or anything that you could adjust the volume going into your recording device? You should be able to turn the volume down on your iRig. Also, you may want to invest into some better headphones to block out the live drum sounds to get a better in-ear mix!
@scadesfn2 жыл бұрын
@@DanielBernard no, i was sending the audio from the P16 directly to my phone, maybe the IRig is gonna solve the problem!! Thanks!

Took a while to get used to actually using the in ear mix as a tool. So coincidental, we’re playing Glorious Day starting off this weekend also. I’m VERY new so getting comfortable with the speed has been a fun challenge the passed two weeks.

I've actually wondered too; I have the p16s also, and I like recording a few services, but for some reason my recorded mix isn't in stereo (I use a 1/4" TRS Male to Dual 1/4" TS Y-Cable) thru my irig 2 directly into my phone. It's all apparently in mono. Any thoughts?
@jao63643 жыл бұрын
Its because your auxsend is in mono ask your sound guy to make it stereo/matrix. What is your sound board by the way?
@moments_with_IH3 жыл бұрын
@@jao6364 We have the X32, but everyone uses p16s, meaning the soundboard cant control my individual in ear mix

Why you have a "snare" in front of the kick?
@jasonmarcus68763 жыл бұрын
Looks like a Yamaha Subkick. Basically a speaker wired to act as a mic, it captures the subsonic low end of a kick drum, and gets blended with the internal mic. So you get a nice punch / attack from the internal mic and the deep low end from the subkick
