you should look into LTT Magnetic Cable management Equipment. They are a little pricey.. but SOOO worth it!

I prefer the black table skirt, and all of our tables have them along the entire length, and makes the setup even cleaner than without. DJ booths have panels which are similar but table skirts are much cheaper. Also provides some privacy so our volunteer's legs are not so exposed.

Cool rack build! Love some of the ideas and unique strategies used here. Definitely taking some of these ideas for our church!

Lovely sanctuary you have there. Looks very nice.

Really cool what you were able to do here! We're at a spot where reorganizing into a rack probably makes the most sense. However, we presently have a mixture of things which aren't rack-compatible so that'll be an interesting challenge (that and cable management... ugh...)

Awesome rack build! That room should probably have some AC and ventilation. Those units will create some heat which won’t be good long term.
@Churchfront8 ай бұрын
Yeah, we’re working on that

I agree. Def some cooling. I would have also dropped a second 20amp circuit in that room (looks like there is just one quad outlet). And finally instead of that raceway, I would have used standard j hooks or a mesh cable tray. So much easier to service. But they are putting more thought into it than a lot of other installations I have seen, so they are in good hands.

@@robwalker8530 totally, i'll be updating this more over time. learned a ton on this build.

When you leave gaps remember to use blanking panels. Racks and rack units are designed to not have space between them. They draw cold air from the from and exhaust hot out the back. Leaving open gaps can hurt thermal performance more than you would expect

One question I would have is what happens when a piece of equipment fails. Someone has to race around the other side of the building into a rack room to do the trouble shooting? I like the reasoning for security etc but it fills me with anxiety .
