I mean, the first one he literally just pulled the cards apart in the exact same piles after shuffling because he never squared the deck up, then did a bunch of cuts

Plot twist. It's not a trick at all, they just recorded this video 132600 times and showed the one where the guy guessed the correct card 3 times

AHH I see you've watched some Jason Ladanye videos, he does this method every single day of the week. Sometimes twice a day. He spends so long doing take after take that he's fed by a tube that goes up to his stomach via the anus...

1. Deck was in Black/Red order 2. After the cut, his card was placed, meaning in one position the deck had 2 red cards touching. 3. His "shuffle" was false, after the riffle he simply false cut (undid his riffle) 4. Cutting the deck does not change the order. 5. "Memorizing" in 10 seconds is him looking for the 2 touching cards that break the black/red pattern 6. He just stripped that card to the top of the deck
@fylosofer
@fylosofer 2 күн бұрын
That doesn't work. If the deck was originally in alternating order and one card was moved to another location, there would be both a pair of black cards and a pair of red cards, and you still would not have enough info to know which was selected. A simpler method is to just know the bottom card. After the cut, the bottom card will be atop the one that was selected.
@GriffinLisuk
@GriffinLisuk 2 күн бұрын
It’s a lot simpler than that. He knows the original bottom card. So when the card is placed on the top of one pile. He puts the other on top of it. Now he knows that the chosen card is directly underneath the card that he knows. Now he does a bunch of false cuts and finds it in the deck when looking
@danilooliveira6580
@danilooliveira6580 Күн бұрын
@@GriffinLisuk yeah, it's actually cool to see one trick that I do know. you technically only need to memorize the bottom card and then do a bunch of trick shuffles that keep the bottom card and the chosen card together. there is a bunch of different tricks you can do using this technique. I don't know how his trick shuffles work though, because they seem very legit.
@hu_fyk
@hu_fyk Күн бұрын
@@GriffinLisukthis one is correct, but the only false cuts he need to do is the first one where he do riffle shuffle. everything else doesnt matter anyways(the other shuffle he did is just some simple cut).

I was taught a card trick as a kid that I've never been able to figure out. I've shown it to a bunch of folks over the years and nobody knows how it works. The only thing I know is that it is somehow math based. If I found a way to show you the trick, do you think you could try to figure it out?

Is this one that makes columns and 4 card piles?
@wes52101
@wes52101 3 күн бұрын
@borisfishman4218 No, I know the one you are talking about though. It involves making five piles of cards face up. You count to 13 starting from the face value of the first card. Obviously the first card cannot be an ace or face card. Then you flip the piles face down From there you have the person remove two piles and add them back to the remaining cards. After that you ask them to flip the top card on two piles. Then you add the value of those two cards and another ten. You then count that number of cards from the remaining pile and have them count how many cards remain. That number will be the face value of the top card on the one pile that didn't get flipped. If you count right it works every time. I've never been able to work out how it works though.

I'm reminded of the scene in Weird Als movie 'UHF' where there is a blind magician sitting on a park bench with a homeless guy continuously grabbing the next card in the deck and guessing "is THIS your card?" Homeless guy: "Nope!" Blind magician grabs the next one. "Is THIS your card?" "Nope!" "Is THIS your card?" "Nope!" 🤣🤣🤣

Fake shuffle, cards were in some known order, when memorizing the deck, he split the cards to bring his card to the end. Anyway, he does it mostly okay, but those are obviously fake shuffles. He needs practice.
@hu_fyk

no card isnt in order. he just need to look bottom card, remember it then when he let other guy cut the card the 7 of hearts are on the top of first half then 3 of spades is at the bottom goes on top of 7 of hearts. when he shuffle only the first casino shuffle is "false shuffle"(somewhat false shuffle ,he just pull out the deck with out squaring it up. (just undid the riffle)) then when he say "im trying to memorize deck" he just look at 3 of spades and now he know what is the card other guy pick(7 of heart) i dont know if he actually count where it is because they doesnt show if its actually 24th or not. but if you are familiar with cards, its not that hard to count.

News flash, no magician in the last couple centuries at least has wanted their audience to genuinely believe the BS we spew in our patter. It's *supposed* to be obvious BS, we create a fictional narrative for the audience to buy into via willing suspension of disbelief. The point isn't for them to believe the lie, the point is to get their attention on the lie so they miss the real method. You are the worst kind of audience member.
