Hi, in my masters program right now. Im trying to find a job as a student support or guidance assistance. Could those jobs be counted as my internship. Being a single mom and working full time idk how I’ll be able to do internship ON TOP OF working

Hello Se‘Quoia, though you would be working with students, unfortunately those jobs won’t be counted as your internship because there are certain things your going to be doing in internship that won’t be met as a student support or guidance assistant if that makes sense. Also, in your internship you will be supervised by another school counselor at the school you are assigned to who will look over you as you are doing school counselor duties. However, looking for interim school counselor jobs will not only count towards your hours but you will be getting paid as well. I will talk more about that in an upcoming video.
