I watched this video on repeat with my friends when we graduated from uni 10 years ago as our hype video before we went on a backpacking trip to Europe. Had the time of our life. Here again, I found this video again! But this time as a 32yo, about to embark on a bigger trip to Europe, this time bringing my husband and baby for 8 months. Thank you for the video! The scenes and music brings back so much memory.

Thank you! We stayed mostly in hostles where ever we could we stayed on campsites as it was cheaper. Unfortunatly I can't remember the hostels too well. But we bought a lonely planet on a shoe string guide which helped no end. Theres a really cool bar called Szimpla Kert i think, its all made of scrap. When we got to a place we would check at the train station whether we needed to book seats for our next journey so we could book at least the day before. Enjoy your trip!

Wow that's an awesome video what a great memory. I love how each clip is just 2 or 3 seconds. I'm leaving in 4 days for a month and half long trip and I'm planning on making a video with my gopro. Your video is inspiring and very helpful to see what it takes to make a good video of a trip, thank you.

A friend of mine sent another song of Beirut, and of course it reminded me this song of you featured on the video. And you don't how much this video inspired me, mate. I have been more than 20 countries so far, since I started to travel one year after watching this video. Thanks for that. I wish you best.

HOLY COW. You lived my dream! Except for the eating little. Cheap food is not always bad (if you find holes in the wall with authentic local food..), but eating little is a sad thing.. Your camera is amaaaaazing. I loved that you seemed to do creative things that were free, instead of parachuting/bungee jumping/entertainment you pay lots of money for, and is served to you on a silver platter.

Hey, When we arrived at at a place we would check at the the ticket desk about our next train, checking if we needed to book in advance or pay extra for a reserved seat. The easiest way to check ticket times was to ask at the station we found but there might be an app or website that might help. Glad you like it! Have a great time next month, La Tomatina is incredible!

Hey, its fine. £1500 was absolutely everything i spent. Zagreb is quite an interesting city to visit. its worth a visit, but yeah transport is tricky in Croatia. we went from zagreb to split to Bled by coach. Coaches are more common than trains in Croatia. I've always wanted to go to Bruge, especially if your going this time of year. we did a few overnight trains, they are a good idea as you make the most of your days, rather than travelling. I would make the most of them.

You should've gone to Ljubljana as well, not just Lake Bled. Whole Slovenia actually. It's such an amazing country. My absolute fave.
@potatoO0o10 жыл бұрын
Slovenia is awesome! Ljubljana, Bled, Bohinj, the caves... I went interrailing and was so sad we only took 3 days in Slo that we went back 2 weeks later for 2 weeks and had the most amazing time. If anyone's planning to go there, book more than 3 days! But it's more of an outdoor destination. If you want to get drunk, then it's not a place for you.
