hello! ♡´･ᴗ･`♡ it's been a while, friends. in this video, i decided to refresh my older-generation iPad Air 4 (2020) with some new, cute accessories + organized my homescreen setup with essential apps and functional widgets. i'm also finally trying to get into digital planning just to maximize the use of ipad for organization, searching, and syncing notes.
the 2020 iPad Air 4 (now discontinued and predecessor to the iPad Air 5th gen M1) has basically the same specs as the latest iPad 10th gen, with just a few minor changes; but the Air 4 supports the Apple Pencil 2, both the old magic keyboard and the new folio keyboard, a P3 screen with around 25% greater color variance, comes in more colors, and around $200 cheaper - which makes it still an excellent device even after more than 3 years, especially if you're on a budget (if you can get your hands on a used one).

I personally use a metal tip on my Apple Pencil alongside a magnetic matte screen protector (bellemond) the metal tip stops the pen tip from getting sanded down and makes it feel like a ballpoint pen and the removable screen protector means i can still have the high quality glass screen for watching things/ensuring colour isn’t off when painting!

i'm a huge ipad user but have never tried a matte screen protector bc it tends to mute the colors on the screen based on past experiences... but paperlike seems to retain color accuracy! would like to give it a try to enhance my ipad experience 💕

agree, tho it still wouldn’t equate to the quality of bare glass imho but it’s much better than other generic brands of paper-like protectors i used before :)

I bought the iPad specifically for note taking to make digital notes. Purchased the matte screen protector on day 2 because I could not write on the slippery glass. I enjoy the matte screen and it's easy to read even with overhead lighting. ❤ Yes, the quality of the images are decreased but I just use Goodnotes anyways so it doesn't matter to me.
