omg you guys are awesome! I just got my Gen 6 iPad's screen fixed & it kept telling me to use Itunes and for the last 2 days I had been racking my brain trying to download Itunes. When it clicked in your head the fact they built the lighting connections into the new model macs (going to locations in finder) I yelled BINGO. Genius ! Thanks so much!

my ipad pro 2019 is having some sort of a network problem that won’t let me update it or install anything from the appstore and i cant connect it to a laptop or computer because it has a usb c port and my laptop is the normal usb :// ------------------- edit : the problem was the router. i guess my ipad had some problem syncing with our router even though it didn’t have an issue before, but after calling my ISP they sent technicians and all they did was reset the router (as in reset reset) it started working perfectly again :) hope this helps someone

This is how Apple works. If your iPad manage to survive, they make sure to outdate it so that you have to buy a new one! So far Netflix app is working. But more and more apps requires newer version... Good for Apple. Bad for customers and the enviroment.

@@Jockesse I have found that you can load older versions of apps that worked previously on you IOS, unless they change it all together as in the Case of HBOMax, but yes I have read extensively on this subject and it's called planned obsolescence, forcing you to either upgrade or have less and less functionality over time.

My iPad is currently IOS 8.0 and I am trying to connect to my computer to update. (That's what my iPad says to do) The problem here is that whenever I connect my charger to my computer, it will charge my iPad for 1 second and then it will not. Then that keeps happening. Hey guys thanks for the video. However, I have an Ipad Mini 3. I've tried to go into settings and clicked to update to the latest software, but the screen stays at "Checking for Update". My ipad pro 2nd wii/cellular didn’t update either. Tried many times until someone said to use just the cellular connection and that should do it. But I don’t have a sim in mine. Went to use my phones sim and as soon as I removed the sim tray on the ipad, it verified and updated. Without the sim tray inserted.
