I do so much in Animal Crossing. Currently what I work on regularly includes, breeding my flowers and picking the flower collection I already have to prevent extra spreading and to collect the flowers in my storage. (The goal is two stacks of each flower.) I also have a lot of crops to tend to. The crops are my main way of making bells. I also try to talk to every villager I run into, complete nook mile quests, and of course check my Able Sister's, Nook's Cranny, and Nook Shop. I'm working on collecting every item for my catalogue. Basically, I absolutely love collecting things and am so hyped to collect everything so I can decorate however I want! I have so many ideas and have re-terraformed my island over a dozen times. (Honestly terraforming is my favorite part of the game. It's so satisfying.) I've kinda burnt myself out on catching fish and bugs, but I do eventually want to complete the museum and get all the models. At least I've completed the fossils for now! There's so much to do in Animal Crossing, as I'm sure you know. I wish you luck on finding what works for you!

i have to ask! but is this a game ur new to or have u genuinely been doing this since it released? cos i was the exact same for 2 years straight and i just cannot justify picking up the game anymore with no updates since 2.0, i have so many other games that are similar like dreamlight valley or lego fortnite for example that have consistent updates to keep it fresh and i just can't look back to the same old game with the exact same old features 😭

Honestly what really rejuvenated my ACNH love is making a new island and deciding that I wanted to make my own”forever” island. Not a specific theme, not a “core”, just wanting to make an island that has everything I would want and can then play in to finish my bug / fish / gyroid collections :) all my favorite villagers, everything just for me.

When I play I hop on regularly to check the mail, check the shops, check for special events. I don’t time travel. Sometimes I watch the firework shows or go to KK concerts. And I like to visit my parents and sisters islands. And every once in a while I will decorate the island or redecorate my house. I also enjoy swapping out villagers I have a few I don’t mind sparing. Instead of hunting for villagers I like to let a random one move in and if I don’t like them I wait for them to ask to move.

I also use to absolutely HATE doing laundry, and it was something i wanted to change this year, so i thought i would leave you the 3 tips that worked for me. 1. Do the laundry every three days!!! We are a family of three and after three days we will have about two loads of laundry that need to be done. Doing laundry so frequently helps me to stay on top of it and not let it get out of hand. It is also frequent enough to where it’s not too much to swallow in one day, which leads to my next point. 2. Find joy in having the laundry done and put away same day!!!!! Some positive things to think about: they won’t be wrinkly! They will stay smelling fresh! There will be no piles of clothes anywhere, no clutter! You won’t have to wonder if your favorite pieces are clean! You will feel accomplished. It will be a weight off of your shoulder! Lastly.. 3. Fold/hang your laundry while watching SOMETHING YOU ENJOY!!!! I save my favorite youtube videos that i’m thoroughly excited for SPECIFICALLY for laundry day. I find this tricks my brain into being excited about putting my laundry away. Because i’m just ready to sit down and watch my videos! I will just be mindlessly folding away while watching my videos, and it almost feels like i’m not doing laundry at all because i’ll be so preoccupied looking at the tv. I have been on top of my laundry for a couple of months now using these tips, and i hope they may help you if you read this! :)

i just do my dailies, mostly! if i get inspired to decorate an area, i'll do that, but i've just been having fun with the little stuff. i did finally put in the work to find my weather seed, though, and that's been super helpful with coelacanth hunting. never used to care about bug and fish models but some switch flipped in my brain and now i need ALL OF THEM, lol. oh! and i recreated my favorite hoodie using custom designs, that was really fun. idk, it's just nice to hop on for a bit every day and watch the seasons change my island, i think. tea olives came back this week, and i keep passing them and smiling because, hey, i forgot i planted that there! nice! if i'm really bored, i'll jump over to happy home paradise, but i try not to do that too often since i'm kind of a perfectionist about it, so usually i'll see what the random button in the dream suite has to offer. sometimes it's gorgeous, and sometimes it's just the most random thing you've ever seen, i love it

Love this video! Thank you for the great idea. Why am I still playing ACNH? So, my island was done, ie I was so happy with it, 5 stars, blue roses, the whole nine yards. I finally got the DLC in the spring and I've worked about half way through it, but I was trying not to speed run it. Just taking my time. :) But then they announced that AC Pocket Camp was ending. I had never signed up for it to get the ACNH items so I decided to do that one Friday afternoon, about 5 weeks ago. I'm addicted! Already at level 78, it's making me love AC again. I'm loving villagers I never even gave the time of day too. And it's giving me so many ideas for ACNH builds. Not sure how long I'll keep this up but I think it will change my way of playing ACNH.

I still play a little every day. Not much since being a single mum means I don't get a lot of free time. Lots of time travelling since I'm trying to find a few DIYs and also redo most of the terraforming and moving my inclines and bridges by a few tiles. I refuse to use treasure islands but totally understand why content creators do. Villager hunting is done and when I'm tired of outside decorating I redecorate the interiors

I play animal crossing every day! So once your island has all characters, when you first log in, you go talk to ALL of your villagers to see what they say because sometimes they might give you something. or you can also go pick up weeds to help you island status. I go to happy home academy, and I work there. It’s really fun and you get to design villagers vacation houses. But you can also just create new items for your island and decorate, you could add to your house, and definitely check nooks cranny, the ATM, and sables. One last thing, is to farm fruits. It can get you a lot of money! Hope this helps! ❤

I’ve been on such an Animal Crossing rampage recently. I’m duel-wielding an almost complete kidcore island and an only just started resort / Italy inspired island, I’ve been obsessing over getting stuff from treasure islands for some reason, and building’s been so much fun. Custom design shopping is amazing and it really feels like I’m back in 2020. I love when I get an intense urge to play this game again (I’m also simultaneously working on massive builds in Minecraft lmao)

so the way i play acnh is doing nookmiles+ tasks so i can have a lot of NMTs (since i dont have nintendo online it takes some time to collect them) to hunt for my dreamies. also im overachiever so in the meantime im trying to complete every nook mile task, donate every creature and art piece to musem, collect at least one photo of every villager i have on my island (i think im good without rocket's photo tho). recently i started breeding flowers for a blue rose since its the only flower i dont have. sometimes i decorate my island cause there are some places i havent finished decorating (im not as focused on having 5 star island, i just want to be satisfied with how it looks since i have lily of the valley anyway but it would be nice to achieve that once again when im finished). i try not to time travel much but sometimes i do it anyway, for example when i buy turnips but i know im gonna have a busy week or when im few days late to catch some creatures i havent donated yet.

for a bedtime routine, you one hundred percent, okay, one hundred percent, need to turn your phone off. take it out of the room, if you have to, go leave it in your office. if you use it for an alarm, get an alarm clock. if you are going to bed, you do not need to answer any calls or texts until the morning. the fact that you can't even recall the videos you are watching, says a lot, haha. it means nothing to you, so don't do it, and use that valuable time for something else. i know you said you don't like to read, but maybe try a magazine. i have picked up so many old magazines at thrift stores and they're so much fun to look through. I have crochet, cross stitch, decor, gardening, some lifestyle ones from the 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. to give you a few ideas. if you can't find any at the thrift store, libraries tend to have a pile for free, too! you can also borrow gardening books from the library and they are so much fun to look through and read little tidbits about plants and flowers for your garden. maybe pick up books about your favorite music, crochet, etc. you don't have to make anything. just enjoy it as a book before bed. using your imagination and thinking of different ways to do things and learn things before bed will not only relax you, but it might help with any problem solving that you need in your everyday life and could even cure your burn-out rather than extend it with mindless video watching. :) i've been playing animal crossing since 2001, have never experienced burn-out. i play everyday still to this day, in multiple towns and have always had fun because i don't have to force it. i can see that it's not so much burn-out for you, more that it's forced because this is a job, y'know? if you're playing off camera and enjoying it for yourself, then you'd be having a lot more fun, so maybe try that for a week and see how it feels.

I still play, but I'm 100% an offline player with no access to online play or treasure islands. (My husband bought the game for me, but through his account and I refuse to play it on his profile because it doesn't feel like mine). I also am a time traveler to get more things done considering my restricted gameplay and everything takes longer to do. When I play, I do dailies before special day events. Then, I focus on the top money making methods that are NOT the stalk market. Diving, crops, and hot items. I put videos on in the background while I play to pass the time of repetitive screens, dialogue, loading times, and more. While people probably cant stand to imagine life without treasure islands, but that's literally part of the appeal. You dont know what to get or expect day by day and when things take longer to do you have more chances of creativity to constantly change and build through island creation. If I get burnt out, its due to tired of waiting for a finished island and get ideas for a restart so I restart. I gave up desertcore over a month ago and am learning how to terraform creatively. Im great at interior design, but I suck at trying to decorate large areas with my perception issues. Time travel doesnt make an experience cheating unlike what people think. I feel like treasure islands are more of a cheat, especially for those in my situation with no access to them. You can just go and grab so much and decorate. So much overstimulation. It takes out the mystery in my personal opinion that keeos you intrigued when it comes down to the gameplay so less likely for burnout as often. But, to each their own respectively.

i’ve restarted my island recently and have been playing acnh in a very natural traditional way, just day by day checking in, talking to villagers, shopping, i’ve been working on decorating my island, my aesthetic leans elegant core i guess but i don’t follow that strictly, i just make my island beautiful however i see fit. i’ve been working on (very slowly) getting my dreamies, i don’t like to time travel much so i just wait for villagers to want to move out and then i villager hunt when that happens. i just have a lot of fun building up my island, chasing 5 stars (im at 4 rn), dressing my character, grinding for bells, etc!

I had a massive burnout of acnh too that only ended a month ago so i get that 😞 i got back into it because i gained a new interest in doing a desert bloom theme, so currently im mainly decorating and just doing dailies!! im taking it very slow paced so i dont get burnt out again it's much more fun to play animal crossing after burnout when you take things slow and do things like fish and bug catching so i definitely recommend it

I'm on my fourth island and this time around I had absolutely no idea what to do theme wise so I'm trying to complete all of the nook mile achievements, it gives me so much to do trying to get them all. Something that helps me alot is sending my future self mail with just talking about what I'm going through at the moment just talk to future self and ask if I actually did that thing I said I was going to do that week. As for a bedtime routine i reccomend a picky pad, it just gives you something mindlessly entertaining and it keeps your hands occupied

I restarted my island a few months ago, picking a theme that I'm finally truly happy with. Just unlocked K.K so now I'm clearing up all the stuff lying around from that, moving flowers & things to the beach as my house storage is currently full. I've managed to find 2 of the villagers that I want on the final island but I had Judy as my first campsite villager & Julian auto-filled, so kicking those two out will be hard. The sad part is Julian was a must for my previous island.... Anyway, once everything's cleared, I can get to the building & terraforming that I've been itching to do 💙

I'm also trying to have a bit of a rotating roster of villagers (except for my favs, i wont let them ever leave) i'm also trying to get lots of gold roses for a build so I have to water my black roses every day. I also want to get more villager photos so i gift them stuff when I find something that fits. Im trying to get every reaction and I still need a single one from a normal villager (I had to do group streching on 50 days!). I was also tying to get every KK song and I resently completed that goal! I don't time travel and dont use tresure islands either. I'm having a lot of fun with the game lately

2:31 I'm burned out. And every time I entered to play, I did it dailies. But yesterday, I finally found motivation after seeing a friend playing. We don't have Nintendo online, but we just chilled and talked on a call while playing. This time, I didn't do dailies because every time I did it, I just felt like I hadn't progressed in anything and had stopped playing. Sooo, I finally advanced in a build. It's not that cute, but what I found important is that I found it fun. I hope you keep doing and playing things you have fun with!!

Hi Raven!!!!!✨🐸 I have restarted my island so many times because I would easily get so overwhelmed, but with my newest island I’ve decided to just take my time. For example, I don’t focus on one thing so there are days where I just clean the island, villager hunt or just fish and catch bugs. I even have days where I don’t log in for a week. I think the pressure of trying to fully complete an island is what causes my burn out and makes me forget to enjoy the coziness of the game.😊

I started back playing daily after taking over a year break. Now, I TT and use treasure islands to speed build full islands. I complete an island, save the dream address, then restart, and do it all again. It's been a great way to stay engaged with the game, and challenge myself to try new themes and designs I haven't done previously. I also mod a FB ACNH group that does lots of giveaways, so it keeps me active and constantly with new things to do.

I’m recreating the town in the animatic series I’m working on. Since I’ve only storyboarded a few parts of the show so far, it’s been fun fleshing out the other aera’s of the mountain the show is set in. I’m also trying to get every DIY on my island hopper resident. (a resident I never make the island representative so I can keep my diys, catalog, terraforming, etc. when I eventually reset, they hangout on my 2nd switch) Typically I only play when I start feeling burnt out from drawing and animating. xD

I got married in August of 2020, and then discovered after returning from our honeymoon that...I had contracted a blood clot. I thought it was a shin splint, so I ignored it for weeks and weeks--until it was a GIANT clot, from groin to ankle. This eventually made it too difficult to walk, and of course my husband still needed to work since I couldn't, so I was on the couch for 10-12 hours a day playing Animal Crossing. It was a rough time, but ACNH definitely saved me then. I've since been burned out after picking it up again right after HHP...so I would also be curious to know what other people do on ACNH, and how often they hop on.

I stopped doing dailies a long time ago haha. These days I focus on decorating and I heavily rely on treasure islands. i kinda play however i want at that moment. i have one island that I'm trying to make my forever island. i've been getting to know each villager and then customizing their house to their liking on the inside but adjusting the outside to fit my island theme. sometimes i just do dailies, other times i go shopping at nooks or ables, but every time i log in the first thing i do is change my outfit lol. it kinda feels like a challenge trying to style my character. the other day Lyman was in my campsite and he gave me a hairpin after we played a game so that day i styled my outfit around the pin. i also dress up for island events. there's actually a lot to do in the game so i'm just taking it slow each day. i do go to treasure islands and time travel when i feel like it. i dont want to limit myself in the game, i just wanna express whatever im feelin that day :)

I don’t use treasure islands and basically gave up on Nookazon so it’s been a slow start but I have been really enjoying it! I have already gotten three of my dream villagers for the island (Stitches, Kiki, and Tabby). I got super lucky because both Stitches and Kiki happened to appear in my campsite 😄

for me, i get really burnt out on builds easily, so i try to do like some task stuff, like i love completing nm achievements, and i like talking to my villagers and checking on what the shops have.

When I play animal crossing, I don't really time travel, I don't use treasure islands so everything I achieved by myself. I usually do my dailies (check shops, and stuff), and talk to my villagers and give them gifts. Sometimes, I decorate spots of my island and redecorate my house. Other times, when I don't feel like being on my island, I play happy home paradise and decorate some villagers' houses.

I noticed that I lose motivation, when the game feels too "easy". I played without time traveling for a long time and what kept me going was that there was always something to do: museum, flowers, new villagers, loans to pay off, new items and dyis. But at some point I payed everything off, my museum was full, I had every dyi and it felt like there were no items to discover and I never struggled with anything as the money in my bank kept piling up. So I just emptied my bank and broke down an area to build something new. But because I had no money and nooks, I needed to do dailys and fishing/bug catching again. It helps me to feel like I'm working towards something, instead of just being able to do everything at once without worries.

2:04 rn I'm re-doing my kidcore island and I realized half way through the process that this theme isn't for me at all. The one thing that keeps me playing rn is the theme I wanna do after this one, which I'm really excited about!!!

I recently restarted my island, because I was experiencing burnout aswell. I normally clean my island, do builds, trade, villiger hunt, and play with friends. I think you're doing great dealing with your burnout.

I only started playing Animal Crossing last year so it’s still kind of a novelty for me. I just recently started a new island so right now I’m focusing on the layout and collecting plenty of DIYs so I have lots to decorate with. I spend most of my time catching fish and sea creatures to make bells so I can pay off house loans and bridges and inclines. I try not to time travel too much because I like playing it day to day but sometimes I get impatient.

I just restarted my island. I find that I like taking it in sections and try to really work on the museum.

Hey Froggy! I just get on when I feel like playing, I don’t rush any builds. Sometimes I just get on and go to other islands for inspiration and then treasure islands and that usually helps me feel motivated!

I tend to hyperfixate on different games, but when I am hyperfixated on animal crossings, I tend to my island, clean it up and decorate what I havent decorated yet. I do a lot of decorating but when I need money I tend to go to different islands and harvest from them as well as harvest some of the crops and do basic stuff around my island. sometimes its exhausting and I have to be in the mood to play most of the times.

Hi Raven! I play acnh every day since day 1. I have the same island since day 1 too. I do dailies: I talk to all of my villagers, get my fossils, my golden spot and my bottle, I fish and catch bugs, sell them, grab a coffee, clean branches and weeds and go to the ATM.

Hi Raven! Hope you’re doing well. Always enjoy watching your animal crossing streams and videos! I’ve been playing new horizons quite religiously, actually. For a good while I was OBSESSED with Happy home paradise because I loooove doing interior designs. And now recently I’ve decided to turn my island into a Disney island and it’s given me so many new ideas. I’m currently working on Rapunzels tower. I do use time travel honestly, because I enjoy building and hate having to wait for stuff. I have Tad on my island as Naveen, Colton for the prince’s horse from Snow White, and I’ve been thinking Penelope for a mouse from Cinderella and I also wanna get Lily for Tiana. Any other good ideas for villagers? Anyway, love the fun video’s and I hope Bread Tag will spark the joy in animal crossing again!

Hey froggy you could do a closet clean out? It would definitely help with your laundry problem if you got rid of some clothing. Less to wash that way.

i play in short and VERY INTENSE bursts usually, i get really inspired and want to play for hours on end, time travelling and terraforming and thinking about how cool my island would be if i did xyz, and then i don’t play for like 3 months😭 currently tho i’m not really doing anything like that, i think i’m in the burnout stage tbh bc i will play for maybe half an hour and get bored and stop!!’
@Littleluma0616Ай бұрын
A good tip to deal with a burnout is to make challenges for yourself, so like house decorating, or different themes per build, or even no cheats, or like what you did, no online. There are many ways to deal with burnouts!

I play Animal Crossing several times a week. I still do dailies, minor island decorations. But it’s good to have goals. Right now I’m trying to finish the art gallery in the museum. I’m only two pieces away.
