Unironically adding a claim all button for missions, a button to visit all friends for credits, and 3x or 4x speed for auto battle would massively improve the game. The amount of afk time in auto battle is insane and makes the game unplayable on phone compared to pc.

Im actually dumbfounded that they haven't add a "Claim All" button for daily/weekly missions when you can LITERALLY do that in game but only during timed events like WUT? The 3x/4x speed would be nice too, at least on PC, but I can understand why they havent done it yet. The Auto Battle system records Op. deployment and skill activation but not Damage and RNG elements. Those are calculated during Auto Battle hence why Op. with RNG skills have inconcistence results during Auto Battle despite previous success. Adding a 3x or 4x speed might screw with the games Auto system.

Actually, a faster auto battle speed is a double edged sword. skill proccs and attacks get more and more innacurate the faster the stage is played because of game tics. You'd have a much higher chance of breaking the run if 3x or 4x speeds are introduced.

(Minor dmg) The game allow player/enemy to do damage even their def or res is higher than atk For arts scratch dmg is must have 100 % res While physical is must have higher def than it atk receive Scratch dmg is 5% of operator/enemy atk And i find a loophole in physical If enemy have 600 atk balista and our defender have 599 def you only take 1 physical dmg but if your def is 600 balista will deal 5% if it's atk (30 dmg)

@@yogyomardiutomoskyriz2957 No, they will never deal less than 5% of their attack. It doesn't matter if the defense is higher than their attack out just so slightly lower. Once there's enough defense to lower damage below 5% atk, this takes over (rr 40% atk in Aciddrop's case).

1. About the Powercreep The only way to actually halt powercreep is to stop creating New ops. But there is a good side in It. For exemple, the Carnelian-Eyja situation you described. It's a "problem" If you already have Eyja and want a Carnelian. But I'm New player, so not only do I not have Eyja, I'm more likely to get a Carnelian when her banner arrives than to get an Eyja off-banner. At some point, when he number of operators is really high, It's actually good to have overlaping niches cuz makes It easier to get a Op to do the Job. It's a problem for you, but not with the game. Most of us can't poof a operator we want into ou roster. 2. About events reruns and limites stuff I agree. I stopped caring about especific operators and Focus on the niche I need to fullfil. I want a Saria as my healing defender, but If rnjesus gives me a Blemeshine, I'm ok with dat

The one thing that annoys me is how the game presents information for Operators and Enemies. Using alphabetic labels to show the enemies stats isn't very useful, same for Operator's ASPD label. They could just show us in game numerical stats, rather then having to go to an external site.

My personal biggest gripe with Arknights is the fact that DP costs are such a joke. Some units (AOE Casters) cost ridiculous amounts for minor upgrades (if that) while others, like Mudrock feel worth the 36 because she's like three operators in one. at the same time the flagbearer Bagpipe combo throws generation restrictions out the window. I love Arknights, but I would really like them to reevaluate DP costs and generation, even if I know it will probably never happen.

@@faezor3326 Their decision to do that probably has to do with the new module system they're adding. Summoners recently got theirs on CN and Deepcolor for example looks really good now, so I'm guessing they want to put the majority of the buffs with the modules.

Another thing with the defense debuffs is that it can be tricky to keep those debuffs on. Meteor can keep her debuff on some big motherhubber that stays in her range with her first skill but Schwarz needs to either have skill 3 on, which is short acting, or get lucky for her defense drop and Shamare also has to deal with a short timer on her debuff. You have to time big bursts with physical damage rather than just letting shit go brrrrrr. Compare this to resistance debuffs which have a tendency to be innate like Haze's or Irfit's talents. Granted I've done it once with challenge 8 of CC4 and I'm willing to do it again if I run into a tough bosskiller CC assuming I don't need all 13 operator slots to deal with the map before the boss makes a move.

You forgot to mention the casters with global "buff" that increase the overall ARTS damage under certain conditions, like Skyfire which boosts further all damage dealt to blocked enemies by 15-30%. Physical has something similar with: "increase all damage to stunned enemies by X% in range" but I am ready to argue that this also works for Casters as well.

There's probably more difference in player strength than in bosses weakness... Now the entire playerbase has multiple meta units raised at m3, high level and such, and they can't just bump the numbers because that would be unfair for new(er) players, and low end clears like Kyo's guides should always be somewhat possible. .

-Maybe new kind of enemies that will have increase damage to specific class of operators -Enemy that prioritze targeting a specific class operators -Coordination between waves of enemies (imagine a shielguard moving together with stun snipers, bullies and agent type of enemies) -New enemies new gimmicks (an enemy that is treated as 2 block but will be 1 block if block by a defender or a wraith enemy that is immune to arts damage but take more damage from sniper class operators) -maybe difficult to implement but enemies that think(?). i.e They will change their pathing accordingly etc. - Also clarification on how many limited banners will we have in a year because dear lord emperor god yahweh I don't like a limited surprise! - Spark should now be change to 200 or 170 for limited banners.

I don’t think the Physical Formula is bad per se, but some Phys. Ops don’t have kits that are able to manage high DEF enemies I’m not concerned about AA Snipers; they’ll always be useful so long as Drones have a presence in the game The big problem is with Duelist/Valiant Guards; their attacks are too slow vs Low DEF, but also too weak vs High DEF. Jaye, Phantom, and Red are better vs Low DEF because of their faster ASPD Provence, Schwarz, and Acid Drop are their Sniper counterparts, but they have ATK Scale or DEF Ignore attributes in their kits that allow them to punch through High DEF They need ATK Scale or DEF ignore in their kits. Most likely as a Trait buff since that’s the only thing Hypergryph is willing to tweak The frustrating thing is that Sharp from Integrated Strategies is proof that their Subclass has potential

Exusiai for example is an amazing operator that becomes useless once she has to deal with high def enemies. And since these are everywhere she becomes an "anti-trash" operator instead of the boss-killing goddess she has the potential to be; for example in maps with bosses with more manageable def values like Crownslayer, W, Skullshatterer etc.

@@kingdomofthesaintful I actually think Exusiai is better balanced nowadays. She wasn’t just the best Rapid-Fire Sniper; she singlehandedly made other Sniper Subclasses redundant before Chapter 7. Now we can actually justify using Schwarz or Provence vs. Bosses w/ High Def & Res, which is what their kits are built for. And Exusiai will still have a spot on the squad so long as Drone stages like East Armory are around.

As a semi-F2P player (No, I'm not joking, and I'm not looking for a fight, this is all genuine, and "semi-" coz I bought the purestream pack, coz $1, why not, save the animals) Anyways, Word Wall. You have been warned. I don't mind new characters coz that's more advantageous for us F2Ps since we adjust with what we get, and so far, all operators are viable and not a waste to upgrade. If you get an operator that's better, then that's good. Now we have 2 or 3 operators that can do the job faster. I think my only complaint here is, yes, it is not as begginer friendly as b4. I started playing arknights 6 months after it came out, and I still found it hard to get to where I am today. Hence why I don't diss or feel bad to any people who spend money on the game, that is pretty much the best way to get thru the hard parts for begginers. Lastly, I enjoyed this game bcoz I took my time on it. I am not against spending, but people spending so much THEN complaining getting bored already bcoz they finished the story in just 2 months is still a thing I don't understand. This is probably the reason why Rosa and Ifrit are my two favorite operators in the game, and any time I can use them to make a boss a joke is admittedly more statisfying than it has any right to. Like, downing Patriot's first shield phase (one of the chonkiest defenses so far) in a single Rosa s2 with some mines hits different.

My issues : - Powercreep ( you already dealt with it in the video ) - Arts damage being way better than physical ( making snipers as well as other ops fall off later in the game ) - Some niches finding very little use inside the game ( AoE casters in general , support / specialist characters who you'll want in your team only once every "x" stages cause there's a hole in that map or cause you need Angie / Suzu to stall crap in CC and so on , summoners , whip guards such as Wishlash or Swire , short range snipers such as Provence / Executor , ecc... ) - Too many events at once / new ops coming out without any breaks ( There's not enough time / resources to level up all of the ops you'd like to cause you constantly have to invest your sanity into new event stages rather than into mats you'd need in the immediate future ; this causes you to prioritize ops you are actually going to need pretty soon / your newest 6 star rather than experiment by leveling and trying out new or lower rarity ops whose concept looks interesting ) - Base shifts management ( Seriously , why must we bother with stamina and having to swap units in and out everytime ? There is a cap to what each facility can produce anyway ) - No content which requires you to build multiple , different teams ( I'm at level 111 rn....I have 44 ops at E2 with their relative masteries...33 M3 skills , 1 M2 , 3 M1 , 34 more ops at E1 70 and skill level 7 ; I can only pick 12 ops to use per stage and for as much as I try switching my team members around depending on what I think would be better for that stage / out of fun there is no real *need* to raise and keep on raising ops past a certain point ; it would be nice to have some sort of "endgame" events or stages which require you to make use of multiple teams...having you complete a first stage with 12 ops , then switching to a second stage that would lock out the ops you used to clear the first part , thus requiring you to build and use a new , different team as well , then once you are done with the second part the same thing would happen and you'd keep going on like this until you either reach the end of the stages or managed to get as many rewards from them as possible anyway ) . - No content which makes lower rarity characters shine and thus be worth building over 6 stars ( While some lower rarity characters are amazing the player usually won't care much about 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 stars...very few exceptions made such as Myrtle . It would be fun to have some "low rarity only" CC-like events ; stages which restrict the player to only use 1x 6 star , 2x 5 stars , 4x 4 stars , 5x 3 stars or lower . It would keep lower rarity characters relevant and valuable as well as making people discover some hidden gems of operators )

I think it would be nice if operators can gain exp by level at least by small amount enable to have some progress rather than just using a battle records. Like the other games with the same level mechanic that they can get exp at the battle and using exp cards to help them level up more. And I would like to have the late game statistic where it shows who deal the most damage.

The game feels like it's in a really Stagnant state, with how Main Story Chapters being seemingly rarer and rarer, CC dailies being the same maps over and over, and fresh new content like Co-Op and IS being chugged out extremely slow, it feels exhausting, not gonna even talk about how there is Limited Character spam lately in CN, which is a whole other can o beans. If you cant look forward to new things or collect new things, what is there really to look forward to, what keeps you logging in? A good example of this disappointment was the execution of events. When R6S was arguably the most exciting time, with the boss and gimmicks that didn't allow you to afk place and forget like every other event, when it introduced Co-Op, when it had a Collab, these were cool and new things. If you compare that to Under Tides, where the gimmick was extremely lackluster, the Boss was a complete joke, where the plot seemed like it was going somewhere and just did not, and there was no interesting side-event mode, it feels disappointing knowing that a Previous event felt like it had more engagement than a future one, and arguably the one with more attention being an anniversary event and a Core Event in Arknights. I could probably go on about balance as a Max Risk player, however, I think Stagnation is Arknights biggest disease it needs to fix, because whether or not you are casual, competitive if it's not fun to play, how could it be fun to challenge yourself in if the CC Perma maps are only engaging because you pick and choose it to be via Risks (which is just -ATK and -DP still).

I think one way to address the physical vs arts damage calculation is by introducing enemy that have low DEF and RES but insane amounts of HP, I'm talking about 150k HP kind of stuff. Because things like AA snipers have much more raw dps than caster.

If only they make the physical and magic attack equal, we won't have this kind of lopsided advantage of arts damage. The best example of the implementation of it is the damage formula on Toram Online, sure it's an MMORPG that can afford to be overly complicated but it works. The way it goes is that both magic and physical damage is treated equally with enemies having Defense, Magic defense, Physical resistance and Magic resistance. Defense and magic defense works the same way as Arknights' physical attack which then subtracted by defense value of the enemy, but in this case Magic atk it is also subtracted by enemy's magic defense value. Then Physical resistance and magic resistance works the same way as Arknights resistance with percentage scaling. This would allow you to make a combination of the 4 values when making the enemies.

I agree with the newer player thing since I am one. The luck I've had has left me with 10 6 star operators whose best skills are E3, and I won't be able to upgrade or mastery them for literal months on end because the cost is so steep--not to mention the other 5 and 4 stars I want to E2. Rerun events being less rewards all around really hurts too. Like, the difference between getting ~100,000 LMD from a rerun versus 500,000 is kinda ridiculous. I feel like they need a better catchup mechanic, because it's not like you ONLY need 1 good squad. CC5 has one risk limits what type of unit you can use (ex guards/medics, casters/defenders), and I barely had enough strong units to select one because I had been upgrading 1 of each class type. When integrated strategies comes back I probably won't have a very diverse roster to choose from either. I plan to upgrade some 3, 4, and 5 stars first because it will take less time over all, then continue trying up E2 all the 6 stars I got. Also, they really need a claim all button for rewards lmao. Not gonna lie when I first started playing I almost quit the game because I saw there wasn't one...I was like "so this is how it's gonna be, huh..."

I see the point with physical+arts damage, but I do think it's kinda balanced. Physical damage ops generally have way higher DPS than arts damage. Higher highs, lower lows. Look at blaze v. Ifrit (ik, is dumb, bear with me). Blaze has similar attack with S2 but attacks like 3x as fast. Ifrit has better range and more reliabile, if lower, DPS in comparison. In CC though yeah use arts damage.

I've been trying to make a comment over your past few vids about how tough it is to be a player who only came back during the Blemishine event (I hated the story of the original Code of Brawl run and I was really exhausted from trying to raise units, so I dropped the game after CoB). I am glad you brough up some of my greviances of the game. The Sanity requirements in Arknights is ridiculous when trying to chase other players, and Sanity potions are scarce as high hell when trying to chase after missed content. One thing I noticed from week 1 of AK's release is that the game's Sanity generation is very slow for how high the cost of missions can be, with some of the rarer material drops costing something like 60-ish Sanity to get a single drop on average (outside event maps). 60 Sanity is *6 whole damn hours* of waiting for a natural regen! For a single damn drop! Why are players getting Stamina/Sanity gated????? This is 2021! HG/Yostar, GIVE US THE GOODS! I partly don't agree with the idea that AK is "good" when it comes to giving out their 6*s, but if the baseline is something like, idk, Brave Exivus, then I guess AK is better in that case. I do have a rather decent collection of 6*s, so I won't say it is "impossible" to get them, just that some 6*s are more beastly and fit in way more situations than others (and I don't have Eyja or Carnelian, so I'll complain about my potato arts damage). I think AK is a good game. I don't have as much love for it as people who love the lore, or the people who love the gameplay, but I do like AK. Just that... it is tough living with the reality than not only was I having difficulty before I dropped the game after the original CoB run, but also the fact that chasing for progress is impossibly slow. I think AK should allow players to be more flexible with their play times. I'm someone who can sit down for 6 hours straight grinding for an event, but I know I don't have enough Sanity to do that without burning Sanity potions. And in the time I wait for Sanity to regen, I could end up having put another 6 hours into a different gacha game and forget that AK was regenerating Sanity (this has happened way too many times for me). Now though, I think the most pressing issue about AK was the sudden massive influx of limited banners with no time to breath... F2P are dying here, man...

My biggest problem for now is that after Kaltsit, I am not interested in any of the operators that came after her. My second biggest problem is that they still haven't implemented a "collect all missions" button, and a way to swap operators in the base based on a premade rotating template.

@@Freepalestine14421 cuz they’re regarded as single target but the dev gave them game breaking skillset to set them apart from other operators of the same archetype (they try to set up the feeling that 6* gotta be special). In Ejya’s case, I think it’s cuz they want the early to be interesting. Gotta lure some people in when you launch a new game right. For Surtr, it’s for milking players money.

I dont want hg to go down to that path.because if it is true im afraid Arknight will go down not immediately if they keep doing stuff like this im sure of it. maybe there will be better game that will replace arknight that have better gameplay or something we dont know. I hope arknight will become better not worse because arknight is really great game

@@faezor3326 I doubt that. I play both AK and AS and my honest opinion is that AS’s gameplay is so boring. You stick to a few strats to win and most of the time it’s just using fully developed team to defeat the bosses. AK is all about planning and making best use of what you have.

The issues you put about Arknights looks minor when you compare the same things with other gacha games. Arknights just holds itself up a bit better than other gacha games imo. Also you're absolutely right about Integrated Strategies, fuck me Hypergryph I'd pay good money just give me a new IS or even just the Fungimist rerun would be nice.

I think some people say that the game will be much addicting if Fungi Mist is always there, but then how does Azur Lane gets away with Operation Siren? ( It's an semi open world exploration with many RNG factors, the only thing is that it doesn't randomize the Characters, also you get real rewards)

The "issue" with def being flat reduction is dumb. It provides variety and there are many provisions in place to make phys more flexible or stronger generally to begin with. Physical damage has been very prominent in CC from the very start and for the foreseeable ever. Cinder was the only real arts playground, beta, 0, pyrite, spectrum as you mentioned, and cc6 are all pretty physical heavy if not physical dominant. Lead seal can go both ways. Physical damage is far better for creating niches by modulating atkspd, atk values, and dps, meanwhile casters are basically stuck with dps or lower dps, look no further than the majority of 5* casters uselessness compared to 5* guards or snipers, and how heavily they can be overshadowed. Even true damage provides variety has HG has been careful to show how true damage skills with be gimped in certain ways, generally with lower potential damage output. I think the cinder's arts dominance was mostly down to physicals weakness their relative lack of aoe dps at the time, and hyperspecific to Cinder, their specific ability to modulate their attack ranges to not attack at the right times, a la Surtr or Eyja. Cinder would have turned out very differently if Summer Chen or Ash were around during it, Chen who fulfils both those weakness categories and then some with support, and Ash's utility and damage. Also the addition of Skadiva has greatly increased our genki angel's melting power.

I don't really see the need to change physical damage but I'd go the opposite route and change RES to something different completely although it would definetly change almost the entire game. I really think that's one of the only way HG could make ST casters and AoE casters more 'specialized'. But yes pls gibe me Integrated strategies back pls.

Though it might result in an even more broken arknights, its not sure until we see it for ourselves, a system or feature where you are able to raise the star or rarity of lower rairy operstors would be nice, take blue archive for an example where you can upgrade student's rarity to unlock new skills and increase overall stats. Arknights could do the same by creating new content for 4* and lower. Its gonna be nice to see a 6* Melantha with very great skills for helidropping. Ofc raising an operator's rarity to a higher one will cost alot of resources, i'd say a million lmd or more and atleast 20 t5 materials to upgrade a 5* to a 6*

Tbh on Physical damage, either we need new formula or more proper debuff character that actually makes a different. Another issue I have is too many Operators, I rather then improve the Operators rather then release Alter Character, look at the useless Promotion button after it's max Promotion, use that for Character Improvement/Overhaul

Generally having characters fill niches rather than outright powercreep is a big positive imo. Like carnelian may be better at aoe under certain situations but eyja is still fully capable and her s2 is something carnelian can't do anything comparable at all. Just more options for players to choose along to accomplish the same end New players having less resources is just how these games are. Your strength is very much just a factor of time/money invested Physical damage is definitely a bit annoying. Imo just giving physical a higher damage floor than magic would help a lot.

Physical damage is pain, like if the mobs keep getting higher and higher defense we're gonna enter an era where 12F does more damage than Exusiai on shitmobs, now to not be left behind, physical operator need crazy skill set like Summer Ch'en or crazy multiplier/atk steroid like Ash. But it's kinda too late to change this formula now.

Main problem I have with the game is damage scaling, honestly. Current arts based OPs have kits that make insane DPS with res debuffs or high ass attack, or maybe both. Current phys def debuffs consist of static values like -200, with very few ops removing def by percentage (such as Pramanix). If there was more OPs with an Ifrit like kit (high dmg + debuff), I think it'd be a bit more balanced. Or, just properly buff old operators. Hellagur has lost most relevance due to Mountain and Mudrock. Making him and other OPs like Beehunter, Earthspirit, and Nightmare buffed would be nice

I highly believe that the physical damage formula should be changed too. I believe it should be a sort of exponential damage reduction, so when a target has more DEF than the attack that hit it, the damage taken starts lowering, but it never becomes 0. If the damage of the attack is equal to the DEF of the target, It should deal around 30-40% of the attack, and as the difference between DEF and ATK gets larger, the damage either gets smaller exponentially or flatly

Schwarz seems more reliable in most situation provided her deployment makes use of her S3 while Rosa is spesificly built to deal with heavy armored enemies, limiting her effectiveness

my issue is the amount of clicking you have to do before you get to play the game. " even worse when you have a slow device" and the amount of sanity it takes to upgrade an op in late game. so essentially u enter the game. click alot of tedious buttons and micromanage. then play a supply stage 4 times. and go out

Kaltsit exist and makes amiya true damage mediocre cause monst3r damage too high, but true damage has no amplifier like arts... And only suzuran and atk buffers like Aak and Warfarin would be able to amp them compared to arts shred and amps and physical damage and Def reduce..... Also physical dps has really high atk value than amiya and the other true damage dealers aside monst3r so with proper set up physical dps has the highest atk potential amongst damage time....

@@HiImYii I converted most of my T1 mats into higher tiers since I didn't need them at the time (used planner). Got like four 6 stars in a few days on Nian's rerun and all of their skills were at level 1 or 2 for weeks. I would kill for this system.

I know this is a late comment but my biggest problem with the game is the sheer amount of time I need to sit there doing nothing as the game plays itself. This game desperately needs skip tickets especially for annihilation which take me a dedicated hour+ to do every week.
