It has been more than 8 months since I've published my last video. I hereby promise the next one will be out in 7. Or even earlier.

I loved it….you answered every question as they popped in my head. I’ve been looking at the japan real estate web site athome. I’m wanting to move to JP in less than five years. I’m planning on selling my house in the USA and banking half the money after my purchase. My wife is Japanese as well so hoping perm res will be easier. I’ve found many houses under 25 years that have been remodeled and renovated. I may have already asked but do you have plans to return or live in JP?

Sounds like a great plan! The way things stand right now, I'll be back in the end of July and again in September this year. No plans for moving back as of now though.

@@mtwhatley3253yo so how is athomejp? I feel like no one talks about it to much. Is it a good website to use as an American who isnt in japan?

You don't take the AC with you? You paid a lot for it, no? Or do you have ACs in every room in the new home?
@JapaneseJourney9 ай бұрын
I could have of course. But since I've left Japan, I wouldn't have anywhere to put it.

How much is renting a house in Japan
@GTV-Japan9 ай бұрын
Mine is 138m but only 24500¥! Also older
@JapaneseJourney9 ай бұрын
The 24500 JPY aren't rent though, right? If I remember correctly, you purchased your house a while ago.
@GTV-Japan9 ай бұрын
@@JapaneseJourneyyes. You need a massive down payment and fees and taxes. Now 10%! Maybe rent is better!
