Just an FYI. There is no income tax in the Bahamas, however there is import tax/ customs duty in the Bahamas. Import tax on vehicles range from 45% to 50% or more so cars or expensive. What you pay in the US times that by 50% + shipping. So cheap Japanese cars are way more economical for purchasing as well as the consumption of gas. The Bahamas uses the imperial system just like the US and Japan uses metric so they use KM while we use miles.

@@YourCarBro lol yessir its just that we had imports like skylines (r32,r33,r34), evos, rhd eg6 civics from the early 2000s but now the government has impliemented a 10yr ban on imports so cars have to be newer. So most of the cool imports didnt really survive so the few ones that are hidden in garages and such.

Most of the fits that come have Trans problems, cost about 2500 cif to the bahamas then we have to pay 65% import duty, plus 12 vat and environmental charge, plus the cost for the notarized original invoices $300.

Got a 09 fit, love that damn thing And as far as the transmission goes and I think that's just the early model fit issue, and the brakes do the brakes suck ass. That's why I went with wilwood front rotor and caliper upgrade
