I love this app too, except for one thing: the export options are very limited and the PDF file doesn't come with settings you can adjust, so if you insert photos, they are huge and positioned over more than one page sometimes. The app would be perfect if it had an option to edit the file before saving or printing. So now I'm looking for an app that I can actually do that with. Haven't found it yet, though.

nice insights! I tried journaling on paper as well and found my self dropping the habit most of the time. Then I got the remarkable and tried it there but the same issue happened. I really like writing down my thoughts but I think Ill need to try day one to see if I could more consistent! Keep up the good videos

Great video! Totally agree about the advantages of Day One, and not being too rigid about the length of your journal entries.

Thanks, Bob! I would say that consistency is the most important part!

I know this is an older video, but I’m curious if you add your photos right into your writing section, or if you add them separately and they show up on the same day, but not embedded in the actual writing section. Does that make sense? I am backtracking and adding mine now and I’m not sure if I’m doing it the best way. I’m also trying to figure out how to choose which one shows as the cover on the calendar view. I want it right so if I print a book they show in the proper format.

Hi, I do add my photos right in the writing section. I don’t know if you can select which ones will show up as the cover though…
