The kids talked nothing bad about you. I think they're just excited to speak English with foreigners in front of their friends, it's kind of exciting and awkward at the same time. Mostly thai youngster are not that confident to talk to foreigners, so they might be acting weird sometimes LOL but they're nice kids. I can tell. Besides, Tuk tuk is worth to try for an exotic experience and vibe (for short destination) but don't take it as a main transportation because it's overcharged, some drivers are greedy and tehy can be an a**hole. BTS and MRT or even Grab application are much better.

You should check and compare travel cost in grab application before you decide to take a taxi and to tuk tuk.

i'am thai I don't like these tuk tuks that are very expensive. If a foreigner Do not use the tuk tuk service in Thailand You guys should use the sky train or grab.

Apart from tuk tuk , Little india can access by subway just get out at samyot station and walk 10minute.

Key Tips - always negotiate price for a TUK TUK ! Also, Little India is known Phahurat Market - check it out ! :)

The kids were laughing because they can talk English just a little bit, just like you guys just say hello in Thai to Thai people and they speak long Thai sentence to you, in this case I think they understand what you asked but do not know how to speak. English is the 2nd language for us my friend and they are just a little kid, I guessed the first sentence that he said is all he knows about english. Lol You are welcome my friend🥰🥰

You found it the little mall that sell Indian food..... When I visit Bangkok I always struggle to get to little India. I usually ride the bus and it takes hours almost 3 to get there! 🤣

I don’t have a big opinion of Tuk Tuk drivers, but for sure they negotiate hard and it’s difficult for foreigner to know the true price of a journey 😢

I am Thai, from (The Emporium) Sukumvit to Little India. Very very very far. You offer only 50 Baht not impossible. I think about 500 Baht It's correct..!! but he discount for you 400 Baht. He not scam sir..!!

That’s the problem when Bangkok people felt sorry for those rural areas people and let those rural people come to do scam businesses here and do not have any rules for them. It’s really sad for Bangkok people because 99.99% of all Tuk Tuk drivers they are not even a real Local people but believe me if there are some Bangkok people have drama about them there will be a lot of Bangkok people try to help them because they are poor. Now you guys have to choose you want to help bad poor scammers that tried and pretended to be a real local Bangkok people here and scam many tourists or not. I even saw a lot of them tried to be a guide tour and made me think how could they guide the tourist while many of them just know nothing about Bangkok. Lol For the tourists that’s alright if you guys want to try to have Tuk Tuk experience but if not just use another kinds of transportation and there are plenty of them even Taxi are cheaper and much more comfortable and you could used apps to call them.

@@gormanators my pleasure, yes those Tuk Tuk drivers or even Taxi driver 99% of them they were from another provinces. Also most street food venders all over Bangkok they are Thai people from various provinces, nowadays I even saw many of them are not even Thai people they are from the neighbor countries like I saw nowadays most of the waiter and waitress in the restaurant in Bangkok most of them are not really Thai but if you ask them they will tell you they are Thai.
