So today I decided to start a podcast. "The Good Enough Me" focused on starting and feeling its ok to be good enough. Challenging self-limiting beliefs and as part of that I wrote a list of "one day they will be a guest on my podcast" - I added you to it and took a break to watch a bit of KZbin and this video came up. Amazing! So here's the invite - if this is something you could ever see yourself doing, I'd love to record a conversation on this exact topic. Keep being real, keep inspiring. Your authentic voice will undoubtedly be missed on this platform but your legacy will remain. Thank you for all you do.

I've recently quit my steady employment and started on the video editing/filmmaking business. Also, I've just bought my first camera and I am waiting for the delivery at this exact moment. It's kind of scary to start again when I'm 26 years old already and faced the impostor syndrome my whole life. But, the only thing I know is that I want to do that for my life. It completes me in a way I can't explain. Your video made my day, Sorelle. I can't find words to express my gratitude. Thank you so much for your inspiring words. Greetings from Brazil.

They are amazing, as are you!

I always had a creative side, and I was never ever satisfied when I asked other people to take a picture of me... Nearly a few months back due to the whole quarantine situation, I gave some thought to learning about photography... You have no idea how much I adore you and your work... You are the only person who inspired me to move my lazy ass and learn something new every single day about photography... It has been 3 months since I have started taking pictures and I totally love the process of it... Thank you so much for inspiring me... Much love♥️♥️♥️

I am also a self sabotager. I constantly put down my own work and tell myself I don’t know enough, don’t sell enough, don’t do enough. I personally think my work looks amateurish and feel uncomfortable putting pricing on it. But people are willing to pay for it, and I get complimented on my work, and I love doing it. But that discomfort makes me avoid pursuing the very thing that brings me so much joy.

It's a whole ass process, a journey of discovering yourself and your passions and THAT is something that i needed to hear. The "weird magic" that happens once we say yes in my opinion is you start getting good at it. Your friends your family are left in awe that "you" did this. And that's how things start falling into place. I recently said that yes. I keep borrowing pictures from my friends just to edit. Some I am able to post and some not. But when I share them and they give out those compliments. That's just bliss.

Amazing! Been on and off with my dslr for a little over 10 years, had the aspirations of becoming a photographer. I’m a dancer and knew all the dancers in the scene...I was also semi part of the art scene, so I knew many of the best street artists in the city...knew many videographers and photographers, so I had a vast amount of inspiring people around me to be creative. But I was getting lost in the sea of creatives and comparing my stuff to everyone and everything...it was becoming toxic. So I just casually took my camera out every now and then, but never knew what to shoot and what “looked good”. I was trying too hard to find “perfect” shots. But I couldn’t find it. I felt overwhelmed by all my amazing friends and peers. So My dslr remained stagnant on my dresser. Fast forward to now, moved out of the city, less noise and distractions...focusing more on my art and my craft, learning as much as I can with photography....got a new phone, but wanted to start getting into phone photography as a means of becoming a “photographer”. After a few weeks with my new phone, getting amazing (in comparison to my previous shots I’ve taken before) shots, downloading the best camera apps, purchasing some of the best lenses for my phone, I decided to pick my dslr up again. And to my surprise, I’m loving it more than I did when I first started taking pictures over 10 years go. I have a better understanding of myself and of my camera and all its’ bells and whistles. I have yet to find solid ground with where I want to go with it, but I’m feeling confident in taking that first step forward and beginning a new journey with this craft. Thank you for your energy and your story...it’s truly an amazing and inspirational journey and gives people like me a chance, and more importantly, hope. Thank you for that! Please keep doing u, we need more people like you! 💕💕 - Jesse

Once I've heard that when you're really good at something it shows because you are not doing everything perfect. Perfection is an illusion and when you're really good you're able to put "mistakes" in your work that just give it this sense of innovation and growth that make things creative and interesting. It's breaking the existent and creating something wonderful out of those parts. Loved your video and your journey, what make it more amazing I think that is the fact that your journey is not done, this is just a part of it and I'm just exited to see it even if it's from the distance

thanks Sorelle! ❤️ at the moment I'm overthinking everything that I shoot. Others do better things like me -OR- I don't have that knowledge about the technique (but it still looks good) - I just feel sometimes like a swindler because I did not really learn the stuff I do in a course but all by myself. I compare myself to other photographers and forget the fact that I do my stuff and they do theirs. And after watching that video, I really think it's okay.
