Sis Liz, I am a new subscriber to WeAreOcampo channel and the reason I decided to subscribe to your channel is your strong Christian Faith and values that I see in your videos with you and your husband and extended families on both sides. As a fellow Christian, I admire your family. I see you as a very beautiful Christ centred family and your children are very beautiful. I really enjoy your videos. However, today I found your statement about not recommending interracial marriage and that people should stick to their own kind, to be unloving, unfair, unChrisitan, unfriendly and racist because many times God Himself can lead you to find love with the perfect partner for you from a different race. Isn't that what He did for you and your husband?? Isn't that why you are renewing your vows and celebrating your union after 10 years of being together?? Didn't God bring you together through your parents?? If the 2 of you being from different races were never meant to be together, it would never happen but it did and it can happen for anyone else. Please don't discourage others from possibly finding true love and a perfect partner in Christ from a different race. I believe that as long as God is the foundation and you are equally yoked in your faith in Christ Jesus, there are no differences that you cannot overcome with love, patience, compromise, understanding, forgiveness, longsuffering, time etc. whether you are from different races or from the same race and I think this is another way you can look at it. Although, I do agree that an arranged marriage can make things a little more difficult and challenging but even though things were difficult at the beginning of your marriage, you are now enjoying each other greatly and that's what matters most at the end of it all. Being married to the same race has it's many challenges at the beginning of the marriage also and because it's from the same race, doesn't guarantee a happy ending. Just be thankful to God for the happy place you are now with your husband and look forward to the many, many more happy years you will have with him and pray for the same for others who are in different race marriages or not. God bless you and your family my dear sister, with love from Canada and by the way, when I watch your videos, I don't see you and your husband as different races, I see you as a very beautiful, loving, happy, Christ centered couple/family who is also working to spread the Gospel of Christ that I enjoy watching very much. Life/Marriage is not a bed of roses, it's not always easy even if you are in a same race marriage but with Christ, all things are possible and you and your husband are proof of that. I can see that the hands of God is upon your union and I pray the Lord will continue to bless your marriage with many, many more years of great love, peace, joy, health and prosperity in Jesus Mighty name.

@becca4real253 I respect your view but I personally don’t think she was discouraging people but just letting people know it’s not for the faint hearted. There has been so many tears involved in the journey, she has posted videos of her daughters being bullied in school because of their hair texture at some point they even had to switch schools. In Kenya the kids were bullied too. She’s just warning people out of love the journey has not been easy. We are one in Christ but some people are racists and that has caused them so many tears in this journey. Definitely God is the center of everything but some journeys are tougher than others. She’s letting people know out of transparency that their journey has not been easy. God bless you 🙏🏾

Today society has not yet embraced every race and that is where my comment came from because before we reached ten years it was DIFFICULT and majority of it contributed to race, culture and general differences.. I don't recommend harships but if that's a path people are willing to take you are more than welcome i just don't recommend it the same way i don't recommend arranged marriage, it's too hard.
