My kid HATES bath time

Bath time is kind of like sleeping...it seems like something everyone loves, but the sound of the bath filling up is enough to send some children running in the other direction. Why is that? There are actually a few reasons for that. Not only do I cover them but I also provide solutions!

My Princess is 19 months old and hates bath time. It is a lot of trouble to give her bath all the time. Still we have to give her bath for her good health. I took her to swimming pool 2 times so that she see other kids but she was still not going into the water... I am sad and worried for her looking at her this behavior.. We will try these tricks and hope it works.

My 3 year old will do everything up until the rinse off. I need to try that head contraption. She hates hats so I hope it works. Great video

Sometimes you just have to drag 'em to the tub. Sometimes you have to make kids do these things.

My 16 months old hates bath since forever, she cries the whole time. We use baby tub, no bubbles, not full of water We tried putting a towel, didn't work, we tried putting a towel in the shower floor and remove the tub, still screamed. She screams the whole time. We wash her fast, not rough and get her out of there. She even hates pools, and rain. But she is fine with washing her hands and brushing her teeth over the sink. But not the bath. We can't talk to her, we try but she is screaming the whole time without stop, no bubbles for her she hates being there, just screaming. Why?

My son out of no where started hating bath time. He use to like it now he cries the entire time. He's 18 months. Any updates?

​@@jackiea4077 My son at 20th month all of sudden started afraid of water and just couldn't get in the bath. He used to love taking bath. It's so strange and don't know what to do.

@Da nor I don't have an answer :( I don't get why my son has a fear of bath time. Giving him a bath sucks because he cries the entire time. It's quite frustrating. If I find something that works, I will let you know :)

@@Amorakimoi think it has something to do with may be the shampoo getting in to their eyes or water getting into their ears. Or the feeling of drowning due to using too much water. I think an event like that made them afraid of bath. Same happened with my son. He used to like it.

@@AliOpridai oh he is fine now, after like four months of hating bath time, all of sudden one day he started enjoying it. Now he has to take bath twice or thrice a day, I just can't believe it, it's like switch!!!

Getting a kid to take a bath can be quite the task, but then again, so can getting them out of the tub, because once you get 'em in the tub, they never want to get out.
