What do you do about locs joining at the roots? My daughter is locked for about 4 months now. And has really tightly coiled hair and a lot of it. She has about 150 locs pencil size. And her locs just crazy about joining up at the roots. Loc popping is an absolute no-go as she is extremely tender headed. Taking out strands 1 by 1 wil take me all month as she even squeezes and curls up by doing that. What is the best way to go about it then? And how to prevent it? Her locs are about 4-5 inches long.
