Or maybe he's going through some sort of physical change similar to what Yozora and the "star girl" alluded to about his appearance. For me at least Sora's appearance here kinda resembles a mix of Yozora and himself, mostly the hair and clothes.

My theory after sora died he ended up in that world which is like purgatory. Donald and goofy are in the underworld looking for him they run into hades which is the blue then red fire we see. Sora looks “real” because of the world he’s in once Donald and goofy save him and go to other worlds soras look will go back to the way it was. You can just tell because Donald and goofy still look cartoonish.

Interesting thing about Donald. His rage issues run in the family. His sister Della and Uncle Scrooge have them too, but they know how to control it. However when they do explode. Yeah…. It gets messy

I had a similar reaction to FF7R, Tifa's announcement, and then Yuffies announcement. Like you, it wasn't during the first watch, but the second and beyond. I won't lie, I'm not a KH person. I WANT to enjoy the games, but there's something about the playstyle that I can't seem to control for some reason. So it isn't due to a lack of trying, because I actually own the first two games. But its still touching to see people enjoy the announcements to games like this.

I suggest you try a series like suikoden. When I see people cry over that thing, I lose faith in humanity. Put pretty boys with somewhat heartwarming story, doin cool things = fangirls everywhere ( that being said I liked kingdom hearts up until birth by sleep, but to cry over it?)

I had with the KH4 a deja vu. With ff7 i saw what playstation 1 could do With ff10 i saw what playstation 2 could do with horizon dawn i saw what playstation 4 could do and now i can see with KH4 what the newest gen consoles can do and it is mindblowing.
