I'm not a doctor but one time with a similar case... i was given antibiotics & was booked another appointment, went home till the infection was cured . Then the procedure was done . Body matters be no easy !!

Oh my, my dentist didn't advise that. The pain was unbearable but we completed the procedure.

It's not right to extract a tooth if there is an infection. It can lead to very bad sepsis. A friend died from such negligence. One should be on antibiotics for atleast 5 days before any procedure can be done

The doctor should put you on 5 day antibiotics to lessen pain and swelling i work at a dental office and we dont do extration if the area is swollen due to the fact it cant numb and risk of lots of bleeding after the extraction . So as a tip get augmentin 625mg 2wice a day thank me later ... ur extraction will be a smooth sailing
