After pressing f2 I don't have the same screen or options 😩 My computer constantly tries to restart, on and off continuously. I've tried resetting to "last known good configuration" it will work for that day, then the next day, all over again the shutting on and off by itself trying to restart in circles 🤦🏻‍♀️ I love this old laptop, I don't wanna get rid of it.

Something is either wrong with your computer. Same thing happened to my father back in 2006 and it's uncorrectable, but I'm not culprit of this.

use usb drive or bootable pendrive for it, use system restore, then fix computer from usb, it may help, btw system restore don't delete your personal data

Top man!! Within the F2 screen my Sata selection was shown within its own 'Drives' area but changing the selection to it as you showed got it up & running again, cheers! ;-)

Exactly. It is good saying "do this" or "do that" but it should be explained WHY that fixed it. Also are there any disadvantages to the new setting. And why would the PC blue screen with one setting but not another.
