5:17, not a gameplay bug. It's the same interaction that happens when you E-flash. Your E target position remained the same, but since you got moved during the 0.25 sec cast time, the angle direction changed, causing you to miss. If the mouse position was further away, getting moved would not have substantially changed the angle. It is however a visual bug, since the E VFX breaks during knockups, making all of it less intuitive.

Wow you're right, you can see the E go perpendicular to the wall because his new position is to the left of where he cast it. If you go frame by frame where he casts it, you can see how it lines up perfectly with the original E location he aims for. This is great info. However, its so counter-intuitive to how you usually play. You want to keep mouse movements to a minimum but this punishes that by making the E drastically change angle if cast too close to Illaoi. Sucks but good to know what is finally happening with these. I'm curious how this works with Q since you can't flash in the animation and I've always just figured it moved with you.

@@pearsonlabmanuel it does move with you indeed. And the same thing happens, if you get displaced in the exact same moment your Q will go in the mouse direction and the angle will be your new position pointing at the mouse direction. But with Q the indicator remains iirc? Or maybe not. It does move with you though.
