I can't help but wonder how many people are doing the same thing this guy is doing right now. Got into collecting when it was cheap, got out of hand, and now with the abundance of ways to play games so much easier, want to cash out on it all at once. Caleb, just from a viewer's perspective, I'd much rather you unbox all of this stuff and lay it out in a 10-minute video rather than in a parking lot where the sound sucks. Appreciate you, sir!

Not sure why people get so tilted about stuff like this. You cannot “scam” someone if you both know the total value and agree upon a price. It’d be one thing if he didn’t know what he had, but that’s very clearly not the case. He didn’t “leave” $35k on the table either. $67k assumes you get average PC value on everything, which quite frankly, you’re not going to get. If he sold this all on eBay, he’s losing 15% from fees, so that’s something to factor in. Time is a huge factor. If you value your time at x dollars an hour - how much investment are you making in selling this? There’s a reason people don’t want to spend time selling everything individually. A lot of leg work and headache dealing with buyers. If both parties are happy, then that’s all that matters. Hopefully the dude came out on top in the end. This was a sick collection - would love to have most of it in my collection.

Most people in my area try to sell there second hand consoles for what they are brand new , switches are the most annoying as in ads will have a switch with one game for £320 …I can buy a switch oled brand new for £280-300 or there switch has very obvious wear and tear and are asking ridiculous prices

I don’t see how people could be upset with 46%. Do they not understand that businesses have overhead? Do they not understand that $31,000 is a lot to have on hand just to pay out all at once. Most LGS operate on such thin margins because these same people refuse to pay anything but lowest eBay comp. Therefore they never really get the opportunity to build a nest egg of liquid cash for when the opportunity to purchase a collection like this comes around. All in all. 46% is a very reasonable and fair offer. Especially considering you are taking everything at once.

There are people out there that will pay 55%-60% for collections all day long...Some of them are in the popular Facebook collecting groups and are well known in the community. I even know a couple of people that will pay 70+% for quality collections. No way anyone should ever sell a collection of this caliber for 46%. Hell I'd pay 50% for a collection and I'm not a reseller...I'd just add what i wanted to my collection then hopefully trade most of the rest.
