Just a side note. I owned a 2003 Triumph Trophy. They are extremely tall. I'm 5'-10" and I could hardly flat foot the bike. Great bikes with a really weird sounding 4 cylinder motor. Parts aren't that plentiful, but occasionally, you can find some good stuff overseas. There are clubs in England that take annual trips with these old badboys! Would love to watch you tackle one of these! I had fun with mine! Ride safe!

I have a Speed Triple but I am getting old and the seating position is terrible it just makes me hurt after a couple hours so I switched to a Bobber totally adjustable seat. I am 5'4 as well (so I know how it is) and now I can flat foot so way better rode 500 miles a couple months back and didn't hurt at all. Selling mine as well but that's life maybe a low rider s someday. The only bad thing is the Bobber has a real small tank2.5 gallons so the range is not so great. I am looking for a Speedmaster tank which is about an extra gallon of fuel so anyhow ride safe be looking for the next video :)

I had a Triumph Trophy 1998 900 triple and had to sell it when I moved from Canada. The sound of the engine is great and lots of power, your video brought back memories. Know how you feel selling a wonderful bike, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Triumph Trophy also has pegs that went back a bit, so try before you buy. The newer Trophy is more touring style, so probably more comfortable, but the weight might be an issue. Hope your knees get better!

Random Question:Have you seen the Husqvarna 401 svartpilen? & if so what do you think of that motorcycle? (Its not new per say) 08:37 Why'd you keep going into a southern voice every time you tried to woo us? lol

I'm sad to see you let the Speed Triple go, but you have to do what makes you happy. You can focus on finding a Trophy down the road to replace that Triumph. Being comfortable when riding is the key, especially for long rides. I gotta say tho, "you are your momma's twin".

As a fellow sufferer of broken bits I completely get it. It was the main thing I picked my daily bike for was keeping me knee and hip from locking and just being in agony. When in a perfect world I'd be on an R1 touring the world 😂 Like that R1 that was at the shop....I want one 😭😭😭 I've ridden a Triumph Trophy, very nice bike :) Adiós Triple.

It's best to ride something comfortable. Nobody wants to go on a ride knowing they'll come back aching and hurting so ride whatever makes you feel happy

Glad you’re being good to yourself first. There might be another time for the triple, but for now ride what you like and take care of that knee. I know you'll find a good home for it.
