My LAST TIME On A 507 |

MerseyRail Class 507’s/508’s are being taken out of service at the end of the month so i thought i’d make sure i got the chance to go on one, one last time before they go to be scrapped at Newport Sims.
We took the 8:53 Service from New Brighton into Liverpool City Centre where we alighted at Liverpool Lime Street. We end the video with a couple of shots of the New Class 777 Heading to Chester and another 507 Heading back to New Brighton.

508's will be withdrawn in December whilst 507's will continue to run until next year

I saw a couple being scrapped in newport a couple weeks against, so they’re already on the way out. However, i still probably won’t make it up to Liverpool before december so🤌🏻

@@harrystransportdiaries6607 only a couple of 507's have been scrapped, one of which was scrapped following an incident in which the unit was damaged beyond repair. Whilst all of the 508's will be gone by December 2023.
