Merry Christmas and a very blessed New Year. I enjoy watching your videos and inspirations of sewing projects. I love your thoughts about Christmas. I have the same feelings. We,too, are Catholic. The readings during Advent building to the glorious birth of our Lord on Christmas day. We attend the Latin Mass with the Institute of Christ the King, the church, the liturgy, just beautiful. God bless you.

Merry Christmas, Stephanie. Thank you for all your videos this past year. They are appreciated. We're also Catholic and we went to Christmas Eve Mass at 4pm. It was busting at the seams with people. I got to stand with one of my sons and his fiance. It was so warm and wonderful that it still brings tears to my eyes. Such a blessing! God bless! Can't wait to hear your new years plans.

Merry Christmas from New Zealand. Your chatty videos are the highlight of my week. Having grandchildren really brings Christmas back into perspective. My husband had to do everything for Christmas dinner as I broke my ankle recently. He was chuffed that our older granddaughter who is going on 4 loved the pavlova which is a meringue type desert with cream and usually topped with strawberries.

I agree about the Christmas presents. I've tried talking my grown kids into not exchanging gift and just buying for the grandkids (their kids). No one wants to do that. I forgot to take pictures of the grandkids opening their presents. I was facetiming with my daughter so she could see what her nephews got from her.

Hi Stephanie. So glad you had a good Christmas, we did too and this time I tried to take less photos deliberately to be more in the moment 😊. How wonderful your Grandkids still have the true magic of Christmas. Mine do two and I hope it lasts for many years 👏🏼. Looking forward to all your vlogs in 2025 ❤ xx

Oh my, I didn't take pictures at Christmas either this year. I was living in the moment for sure!! About presents, we only do stocking stuffers for grown ups, and presents for the children.. Happy Holidays!!!

It must be the year for no pictures. We didn’t take any either. We have one more Christmas, so we will hopefully take some then. Enjoy the rest of your year!

From living abroad, I've developed my own extended Christmas celebrations but I syrive hard to keep away from the whole materialistic side as really adults tend to have all they need and more. I did go overboard with gifts with children but with hindsight I regret that. Nowadays when people ask what I would like, I say I would like our gift to each other to be that we all make an effort to be agreeable, pleasant and make it a nice day. I've stopped giving gifts and I really don't want any. If people want to make food for each other, I think that's a nice gift. It takes time and effort but won't become clutter. We celebrate Nikolaus German style on December 6 with no big fuss, a chocolate santa, some other food treats in a stocking or even a shoe. We celebrate Russian Christmas in January as the Orthodox churches do and for that we have Russian food, a honey cake because we liked their traditions too.

Happy New Year! ( I had an opposite experience . I made a dress and didn't wash the fabric before I cut it out and after making it I washed it and it shrank about 3 sizes too small so that's going in the trash!😂😂😂)
