i work at Starbucks and it’s more like a chai flavoured syrup that we use. it’s not like an actual tea bag. it’s syrup and steamed milk, that’s it. so there’s def cinnamon in there but, more of a cinnamon extract than actual spice, you know what I mean?

I have heart palpitations like you described, due to anxiety. Even if you think you aren’t anxious your body might be. Drinking a lot more water and less caffeine will help! Anxiety also makes stomach problems worse so working on any anxiety should help you feel better all round

Hi Ellie!! 4 year Starbucks barista here, Chai does have cinnamon in it. We don’t add any extra cinnamon but the sauce we use is black tea infused with cinnamon. Just an FYI 🤗

A couple weeks ago I had a panic attack before I fell asleep because I was having heart palpitations and felt like I was actually dying. I’ve always been afraid of anything having to do with the heart or aneurisms and I get this weird feeling in the back of my neck when I start overthinking about possibly getting it. I always thought it was such a weird phobia so it was hard for me to share this with anyone because no one I knew could relate. So thank you for sharing. It makes me worry a lot less knowing that I’m not alone in this feeling. I’m going to be trying to work on my anxiety and overcome this phobia during quarantine.

2 years post grad and I cant say I remember my last night at home but I for sure remember my first night in college hahaha. My biggest piece of advice it to first to put yourself out there (especially in the first semester because thats when everyone else is actively looking for new friends) and second to speak up in class discussions. Both will give you tons of social and educational growth, good luck!!
