One day we’ll get back to a point where we have more of a handle on it and global travel will be easier than it is now; It won’t be the same as before and it won’t be as easy as before which I see as a positive but the world will not go on as it is right now. It can’t. People won’t let it happen. I’m sorry you seem so offended by me saying the ‘rubbish’ will one day be a bad time of our lives that we’ve moved on from. Ah Diane your Nanna is the Australian version of my late nan ! The way her house is ! The ultimate joy that she could operate her lamp with a tiny remote! And even down to the bag of stuff you ended up leaving with x my Nan used to always pick random stuff up for us when she was out or just insist we left with anything we showed the slightest bit of interest in x she’s a star ⭐️ and it brought back lovely memories for me so Thankyou x

My sister was so happy with the video message you and mum did for her. She was so gutted she missed your call. Lesson learned by her to always answer the phone to mum 🤣 I hope your flight was good! You should be an ambassador for Perth travel... :) The most important thing about your videos, Dianne, is that you clearly have a beautiful connection with your family - they are such gorgeous characters and your closeness reminds me of my family. so that clip of you near the end at the airport expressing how excited and sad you felt all at the same time really hit me. I needed to hear that at some point, someone else has felt exactly what I'm feeling right now. I haven't seen my family since December 2019 and in 10 days I'm finally going to be able to see them. unfortunately the reason is my beautiful grandma's funeral but holding them that little bit tighter will make it all so much more special.
