I love how she looked him straight in the eyes while in court. Not once did she take her eyes off his. Here he is trying to get the female lead in jail for his mistress. Bet he never thought she would look him in the eyes and produce evidence to prove her innocence. When he asked her why she didn't show or tell him she had evidence, I was like her. What's the point? He wouldn't believe it if she told him. If she showed him he would just try to find a way to make it the female lead's fault. I love she didn't go back to him because the moment this drama started he was already on a downward spiral.

Her heart was breaking the whole time she was testifying. With tears streaming as she looked at him and presented her evidence. I guess he forgot that she was a better lawyer than he was. She gave up her career so that he could move up.

Dude, she just prooved you wrong IN COURT, she got herself out whileyou, her HUSBAND, A LAWYER didn't do anything for her, instead trying to get her into jail. From the getgo it was clear that he was a happless moron who had been spoiled by the people around him, including FL, making things easy for him. I like that she didn't go back, inszead showing inner strength and determination to pursue her won happiness.

This movie is worth watching. Kudos to women who stand strong against cheating, controlling, and domineering husband, ungrateful in-laws, and scheming acquaintances. Good plot, well executed, and right pacing. Acceptable arguments. Less shouting Maybe twisting of foot or bumping couldn't be used often.

Why would he think she would regret divorcing him after he tried to get her put in jail. He's got a mistress that planted drugs in her car, but he's defending the mistress. They can find out who planted the drugs by doing a DNA. She didn't touch the bag, so her DNA would not be on it. I have to say, this is one of the most enjoyable dramas. A very strong FL that doesn't take crap off anybody. A handsome 2ML that loves her so much to the point that he will eat food she brought him even though he's allergic to it. I watched the complete drama without skipping a scene.❤❤

Agreed. I never understood those dramas in which they depict FL as a CEO of a large corporation, then have her just remain subservient in the face of verbal & physical abuse. It makes zero sense that such a female would not fight. Here, as you said, the FL, who is a lawyer more than adequately defended herself in court against the obvious set up by her lawyer-husband & his mistress, both of whom should have been charged with perjury. And, like a true attorney, she never once allowed herself to be intimidated by the bullies she faced, especially her ex-mother-in-law & that ungrateful girl she saved from a sure rape & possible murder.Was also happy that after the girl FL saved, who turned around & bullied her, got her well-deserved beating she was never seen again in the drama. Nor was the lawyer bully in the firm. And, as it should be. As a general rule, Cdramas give their bully characters far too much voice & too much power (never used to think the Chinese talked that much). Kudos to the writer(s) & director(s) of this drama for not doing that here!

Loved it! Great strong heroine. Once realized that her husband is a cheater in different ways left him & never looked back. ML is great too. The moment with the stupid friend who payed with evil to FL good is great. Unfortunately, in happens in real life a lot. I personally can relate. The fact that mother-in-law choose FL and wanted her to hook up with her son without knowing she is the girl he likes was great & funny too. Loved the future in-laws relationship.
