It's going to be really exciting to see/find these kind of interactions coming together while the game is still relatively "simple" compared to all the unique interactions in poe1. It's going to be a great early access launch. Definitely putting in a long session day 1.

The only issue I saw with this is you put on 5 ascendancy nodes. It's so weird having to count that first one. To get to the health for ES is 6 of 8 points unless I am mistaken.

the question is to what degree mana is obtainable as it is much less common on the tree. But since archemage was teased plenty of people going for it with different approaches. Nice not having cookie cutter right at the start of a game but to see different theories that hopefully have all merit so we can have true build diversity.

mana tempest has line: "buff that causes spells that cost mana". Could not work with skills supported with lifetap/bloodmagic. Bloodmagic could be used to work around only one support gem limitation though as it was moved closer to templar area on the tree.

"buff that causes spells that cost mana" -> is only for lightning spell skill gem Buff causes Spells to gain 58% of Damage as Extra Lightning Damage -> global and doesnt requier any specific skill expect a spell and the skill will consume 1% of our mana pool, no idea if the sanguimancy will aply on the 1% consume per second

New ascendancy node "Sunder the flash" will just make Eye of Winter's crit chance 15, or 27? If 15, will you pick another spell instead of Eye of Winter or just won't take this node?

it will make all spells 15% crit and nah just dont take that node if you are building cold spells its not worth it for the 3 base crit. the defense from the other nodes is gonna be better overall i think. you might consider the 15% crit node if you are fire spells(since fire spells seem to have lower base crits) funny enough since crit and crit damage both affect ignite in PoE 2

Why stacking mana when whole blood mage is about stacking Life and Blood Magic keystone (far left keystone straight from mid) removes your mana totally so you cast from pure Life and just stack Life?

But this doesnt mean i cant stack mana, the entiere Idea is to use life tap on the main skill and use thé mana pool as défense with MoM. Thé spell leech as life is only available on the bloodmage and probably gonna be the only way in poe 2. So stacking mana will help us on défence & offense :)

I dont think archmage works with lifetap.. archmage requires mana spent and also it's a buff, not a skill, lifetap supports skills

Look at the new Archmage. Its a reservation skill and it says Spells Gain 5% of damage as Lightning Damage for each 100 maximum Mana you HAVE, not spent.You might be right regarding the Buff and Skill issue thought, i dont know.

Would blood magic be better than lifetap? You have to move down the tree a bit, but you gain support. After that, the problem with blood magic / lifetap is that you lose mana spend, you can't benefit from Sigil of Power, and you lose 56% more damage. We'll have to see how much of a problem mana sustain is. If it's easy to compensate for (e.g. SRS + essence harvest), then maybe the blood mage option will fall short.
