I love the Roulis! It's one of those under the radar bags..If I had one I would prolly use it more than my Jypsiere 34 which is "my" least used H bag. Too heavy too bulky..I don't know what I was thinking when I bought that.

It's a very effortless bag and surprisingly light compared to other Hermes bags..perhaps because of the minimal use of hardware 🙋🏻‍♂️ I do like the Jypsiere but I can absolutely understand where you're coming from. I can see it being overwhelming 🙈

I really like this bag. Perhaps even slightly more than the constance. It is not on my wishlist for the same reason that the constance isn't. I have a limited budget for luxury and I only plan on owning a few Hermes bags so if I'm going to spend ~$10K, I'd just much prefer a birkin or kelly. However, when I have my desired Bs and Ks and I've satisfied my fine jewelry wishlist then perhaps I would consider something like this especially because I have a love hate relationship with the H buckle. I've sold all my H belts for this reason.

I like the way you think..it sounds like a great strategy 👏🏻 I can't say anything bad about the Roulis but I wouldn't recommend that anyone prioritized this over a Birkin or a Kelly 🙋🏻‍♂️

Do you still have this bag? Have you changed your mind? I have one and just ordered another one. I do eventually want a Constance but I really like the ease of using this bag. You cannot also double the strap for a shoulder bag.

This was a really helpful review. I am considering a Constance 18 and would be interested in your view on it. Is it a bag you reach for in your collection? I can see that the 24 might be a bit boxy, but is the 18 more comfortable? Also does the crossbody strap work for you in the 18? I have read it comes up quite short. The 18 feels like such a lot of money considering a birkin isn’t that much more. I wouldn’t go for a Kelly because of the closure, I am after a fuss free cross body bag for everyday use. Would love to hear your view GPS. Thank so much!

You mentioned that you’re not a fan of Evercolour. Can I ask why? I just got a Lindy 30 in Evercolour and I like the feel of it. It’s soft but not smooth.

It's a beautiful soft leather but I tend to prefer epsom when it comes to embossed structured leathers and togo if I'm having to choose one with grains. I find those two to be the most "scratch resistant" and they don't develop patina over time. It's just a personal preference 🙋🏻‍♂️

Regarding the back pocket. I find it odd that regular leather current Constance bags don’t feature that... But the vintage Constance bags do, and the current offered exotic Constance bags like crocodile and lizard have a back pocket. It’s odd they took the back pocket out of the current, and regular leather Constance bags.

You're right..I wonder if they got in a lot of repairs from people who used the back pocket to store their phones, cardholders etc..that stretched out the leather so they ended up removing the extra pocket 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's very comparable to the C24 / K25 / K28 in terms of size. I'd say it's the easiest bag to access out of all the Hermes bags I own 🙋🏻‍♂️
