Both of the things I enjoyed in this area: how the Defense Force Base looks like one of those areas in open world video games that are accessible during only a specific mission, and how the aquarium is really connected to the zoo and not a fake connection.

It’s like a Where’s Waldo of underwater life! It’s beautifully overwhelming, in a somehow not overwhelming way! 😮 Love the minifigure creature heads for aliens and stuff used for fish!

This is absolutely brilliant especially the transition section from the normal zoo area into the mountain section revealing the aquarium.

Easily my FAVORITE part of your city! Always loved ocean related stuff. The coral colors really POP!

The unique usage of parts for coral and other undersea plants always amazed me! Looks great!
@ptnnguyen Жыл бұрын
You read my mind - I can keep looking at it and never get tired of it! I love the part usage for coral and there's so many little details that I can keep re-watching this and see something new. This is amazing and I love the shape of the aquarium glass. Even the curved opening/cut out is so nicely done! A trackless train ride to tour the aquarium is such a fun idea!
@carvin112 Жыл бұрын
Jang, you could literally do an entire city walk-through anytime you changed so much as a brick and I'd watch. Your channel(s) is always what I put on when I just want a break from the craziness of the world.

LOVE the burps from the divers subtheme with the fish on them, fits perfectly, and love the eyes on the glow in the dark octopus from that undersea Agents set! Absolutely beautiful! Edit: I just noticed the swamp creatures moon stone from monster fighters! That's super creative part usage.

Worth revisiting!!! ^_^ It really is impressive and I had to show my daughter it too. Really enjoying the glimpses of the Zoo. Looks really impressive! Has there been a full video of the way it looks now? I’m open to more revisit videos too! Whatever you want at your own time. Even older builds like that amazing Mall!

I think the size of the aquarium really builds on the immersion. Growing up, visiting aquariums, I was always in awe of the huge open displays that made me think I was actually in the "big blue".

Probably my favourite part of your city. I think I might get some sea creatures like yours in the future (the piranhas look great), so the Ninjago Seabound scenery I want to make can look convincing

The macbot is highly impressed by this exquisite creation. All of the creative part usage, the lighting and backdrop culminates in a breathtaking and atmospheric journey. One would believe they themselves are visiting the aquarium along with those lucky minifigures.

Your aquarium inspired me to build an underwater scene. It started as 18 x 16 studs two years ago. Then, a year ago, I created two scenes: coral reef and deep sea. Both 60 x 30 studs. And in the last weeks they expanded to 95 x 30 studs each. Two whole Billy shelves! And I have a smile on my face, every time I see them. Thank you, Jang!

I do also love your original shopping mall and hope you’ll never remove it. It has a great skylight on it. I would like to make it, what they call in the UK, a ‘listed building’, which means officially it must be preserved.

@danielunderwood5217 Жыл бұрын
could you imagine this in real life? You are riding a train and as it starts to approach a mountain, a voice comes on the PA saying that you are approaching and will pass right underneath the Planetanry defense force base. Then, as you enter the tunnel, everything goes black. but instead of the tunnel remaining completely black, it suddenly opens on the left side, the iridescent blue light floods the train, and you look over and there is an aquarium under the mountain. Coolest train ride ever
