Mannnn I'm a lefty and I've been struggling with the exact same shot. High pushy fade to the left. The tip about the softer trail arm and having the butt end of the club opened my eyes. My shoulders were so open I didn't even realize and my club end was pointed towards my groin. Went to the range today and noticed a HUGE difference in my flight and contact. So glad I found this video lol.

The way he explains why the bad shots occurs is just amazing. Immediately you understand why that happens. And the remedy/drills he puts dan in it's like instant solution. Now just have to work on it more. Outstanding stuff.

man am I jealous. to have access to Mark for a 1 on 1, just incredible. all the elements of an incredible teacher on display - he said it, trying to be minimally invasive, work with what you have and build on it with simple tweeks. too many coaches try to de construct. that must have been some buzz haha the excitement to take that out on the course! chuffed for you i played seldomly aged 16/17 , now aged 29 having just moved country last year ive dived in head first, am hooked on it. and so glad to have had a few lessons that seems to be looking for some of the simple things like Mark encourages here - that feeling of leaning back / resisting in the back swing, lower swing plane, and good rotation. 5th lesson things coming together, shot 90 this week and could have and should have shot in the 80s which was been my goal since buying my first set in september. i cant imagine what an hour with Mark would do for my game!

I needed to see this. I have the same issues of having tight hips, limited shoulder/scapula movement, but with great T-spine mobility. I used to have a flatter golf swing, but have been working to have a “prettier” swing by having a steeper backswing and shallowing on the downswing. I’ve tried all sorts of things, but struggled to get the shallowing part right more naturally. Wish I could take a lesson with Mark B., but am all the way in SoCal!
