In May, 13 year old Avery, along with 3 others stood in front of his entire middle school and told his story of life with Autism. Their purpose was to bring a better awareness to their peers so there could be a better understanding and acceptance of others that were not only struggling with this but with other things as well. Everyone has difficulties throughout their day, some with Math, some with sports, some with social interactions. The key is to understand this in order to have more compassion for others and to step out to help them so that they too can overcome and be successful.
We want children to know what their strengths are, and what their weakness are, so that they can be empowered from each and be able to move forward in life with great success. We are so proud of our son, Avery, and all that his is accomplishing!
