As someone who knows what it’s like to lose a loved one (since 2018, and minus this year I’ve lost 7 loved ones) this episode hit so hard. Jackie and Erin can relate to each other in the fact that they’ve both lost a loved one, but it really sat wrong with me when Erin made the “Orphan Annie” comment towards her. Like how tf did you also lose someone in your life, but think it’s okay to make a comment towards someone who’s also going through it to? It’s not a competition. Also, Paige and the other girl who were talking shit about Jackie in the bathroom for the previous episode…..it doesn’t make a difference that Jackie’s mom was a designer, and they were rich…..an orphan, is still an orphan regardless.

Cole really pissed me off in this episode. I think he’s forgetting that Jackie is in a very vulnerable place. Who’s to say that when she was still in NY she probably didn’t have this whole love triangle issue going on, she probably was never in love with anyone….so this whole loving a guy, but then also dealing with loving his brother is all new territory for her, and she’s still a teen girl figuring out her feelings. Cole’s issue is that when he’s confronted about something that he is in the wrong for, he can’t apologize willingly and he attacks others. At least with Alex, he admitted to his mistakes and he admitted that he was wrong, and willingly apologized.

I kind of agree with him in that moment. Jackie is judging him based off rumors of a situation she wasn’t there for & doesn’t know all the details about. Cole didn’t know Alex & Paige were a couple. He didn’t initiate the kiss & he wasn’t trying to pursue her. She was using him to social climb/for status but he’s the one labeled as having stole his brother girlfriend. Also while I agree his behavior with girls is gross especially hooking up with Erin’s friend. Jackie is clearly attracted to him & his brother so her judging him for being with more than one person is a bit hypocritical. Him & Erin aren’t in a committed monogamous rlsp.

I was so team Alex and I hated cole for the beginning, but once Jackie and Alex got together Alex started being weird and annoying with no boundaries, and cole became mr morality all of a sudden and was a good person. I couldn’t take it seriously bc of how much of an ass he was to her at the beginning, especially after her family died
