There are apparently 5 babies that have fallen off the bridge and passed away. Two of them were girls which explains the baby crying and coughing. A legend also says that the father of the girl sat in the swamp and cried while watching her daughter drown. Apparently when you pour the baby powder on the car, all of the babies come together and walk on the back which explains the car running on its own. The reason why they were sending you all those signs is because they don't want you to drive on the bridge. That is the reason why there were not any cars coming. When you heard the noise of a car coming but it never came, that means that, that specific car drove on the bridge and disappeared. Whoever drives across that bridge is under the babies control so thankfully you didn't drive on the bridge. Hope this helps.

There is an urban legend we're I live (Texas). There is a haunted railroad where if you put baby powder on the back of your car and go inside of the car with the engine off you could feel the car moving over the tracks. And when you get out you cold see child's hand prints. It all started when a bus broke down on the railroad and the bus driver and the kids died from an oncoming train.
