It's not easy to get a body like his and he even had a war of literal nerves when one bodybuilding youtuber accused JK of taking steroids to keep his body shape only to be shot down, hard and made to eat his words before he got sued by JK and his agency. Besides, there's tons of different comments from actual artists that had worked out with JK saying that he's just relentless when it comes to gym stuff that he really doesn't stop. He keeps pushing and pushing thus even at times, athletes cannot even keep up with his pace just because of how much he's pushing each time.

JK knows body building science and he knows that not only is rest between sets and exercises good, it's required to get the best muscular hypertrophy. People helping by holding your arms/shoulders as you exercise? Lol, it's a joke! Those reps are garbage if someone is assisting you. Might as well just take weight off. No one said or implied that JK takes it easy, that his routines aren't tough even for body builders and so on. But "artists" aren't much in the way of testimonials for how JK works out. Most artists but someone like Rain would get smoked by JK's routines. But that doesn't apply to this clip, which as with all things on nearly all K-variety shows, is exaggerated for comedic and entertainment effect. If you think JK actually works out this rushed, sloppy and with people helping him, you don't know a single thing about JK or body building.

To those that question he does not take break during his gym routine or did not drink water does not know KJK that well. He have his reasoning for doing this which is to not loose the tension he had during the set. You can go to his YT channel where he said it himself. I did the same where i kept my break short between 20-30 second and try not to have water until my session end. It really does have a difference. About the exaggeration? In his vlog in YT, even foreigners in the US commented that his energy and intensity on another level. Don't tell me it's premeditated as well. Just saying.

Recently, Jang Hyuk told him not to bother getting married because by the time his kid graduated university, KJK would be close to 70 years old, let alone seeing his kid getting married and other major life events. KJK has even said that he's no longer willing to make concessions in order to get married like he would have when he was younger. He doesn't have to sacrifice his happiness just to get married (and have kids). All very realistic.
