Summary :-
The issue begins in Canterlot on the morning of the Festival of the Two Sisters (formerly the Summer Sun Celebration), the first one since Princess Celestia and Princess Luna retired, and Princess Twilight Sparkle is worried about making the occasion perfect. Pinkie Pie arrives to help with the party planning. When she makes multiple comparisons to parties thrown by fellow party planner Cheese Sandwich, Twilight picks up on the fact that Pinkie really wants to see him, so she arranges for Cheese to come and help with the party planning as well.
The next day, Pinkie excitedly greets Cheese at the train station. Cheese immediately starts sharing with Pinkie his ideas for the festival activities, and the two are flustered around each other, each trying to tell the other something but unable to bring themselves to.
In the middle of town, Pinkie and Cheese discover a sinkhole leading into the caves under Canterlot where Star Swirl the Bearded used to conduct magical experiments, and they decide to incorporate the caves into their party plans. When Cheese nearly trips over a rock, Pinkie breaks his fall, and the two stumble into a patch of moss, causing them further awkwardness. Elsewhere, Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts practice for the festival flight show while Fluttershy and Discord make signs for the festival petting zoo together.
Back outside the caves, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich end up near a reflecting pool, where Cheese teases Pinkie by splashing her with water. When Cheese walks off momentarily, Pinkie argues with her own reflection in the water over her struggle to tell Cheese something "important". When Cheese calls Pinkie over, Pinkie walks over and tries to tell him what she wants to tell him, but no sound comes out of their mouths. In fact, everyone and everything around them is mysteriously soundless, and the moss growing inside the underground caves has spread everywhere.

She picks up on the obvious fact that Pie likes Cheese's ideas and spending time with him, so she decides to invite the guy too. It's a win-win situation since Sandwich is just as professional as the Element of Laughter, and our pink pony can bond with him while they're doing the work. "Oh, it's you." Way to go to welcome your loyal friend. XD "Which of course I wouldn't do." I love how Fluttershy is the one who can make Discord coming out from his comfort-zone. She is nice, but does not let others to choose the easy way out, because she knows how important to try out new things, because that's how you can get development.

When Cheese tripped and Pinkie caught him, it was a good oppurtunity for them to kiss each other. But it looks like Cheese's tripping also triggered the moss that grew on his hoof and on the surface. Could the moss be the reason why everyone got muted?

Personally I'd guess that it's an episode in 2 parts, but in comic form. i did see some spots/discoloring on their mane, and noticed the lil green moss on cheese?

I think it had todo with that green moss and a possible silencing effect, either directly effecting them making it so they can’t hear anything after x amount of time or maybe gases released by exposing the green moss to the outside created an area of silence effecr

I happened to bump into this, and the next comic last night and.. I think I lost my mind. I've been a huge CheesePie shipper pretty much since day 1 and I had to bite my lip to keep the squeals in as I very slowly worked my way through the videos, pausing them and taking in all the details. Honestly the festival isn't going to fix the issue of how Celestia will be remembered way WAY more than Luna due to the 1000 years thing. Luna is in Celestia's shadow badly there. They really need to address that issue rather than ignoring the problem of Luna retiring completely. Also.. the fact Discord is so casual there without issue just.. seriously? He's not facing any actual consequences for his Grogar plan? Like they should at least have him try to earn back everyone's trust since his plan would have damaged that trust due to what he pulled behind their back.

Your almost there comic, Your almost there. Next time just make sure that you build up or establish a certain idea in the plot. Number one: If Twilight doesn't sound like she's just taking advantage of her friends and using them as tools but genuinely asking for help that would be great, This may sound like a nitpick but I don't like how Twilight sounded arrogant just because she is a Princess now. Number Two: It has been established that the Summer Sun Celebration is for Celestia and Nightmare Night is for Luna while Hearts and Hooves day is for Cadence, Don't do something like celebrate the Festival of the two sisters, even though there are three Princesses in the ice sculpture while they are living in retirement, They are not dead, just in retirement. You can literally make an effort to invite them and let the Princesses have fun in the festivities, Don't be a douche and mean spirited Its like someone sets up a birthday party for me but they don't actually invite the celebrant deciding to have a birthday party for me without me actually being there! Thats just rude! And finally the black strokes on Pinkie's blushing because its a MLP Comic, Okay I'll give you that. Your almost there comic, Your almost there, Just keep practicing okay? Nightmare Night doesn't count since its focusing on Luna's dark self(in a more goofy/demonized way), not her night and such or actually her. She needs a actual festival celebrating the NIGHT. Like a Winter Moon Festival. The Summer Sun Celebration done damage of how much love DAY has gotten over night. How it freaking added salt to Luna's wounds on the NMM thing. The Two Sisters festival doesn't fix that. Hell, even then Celestia will be remembered WAY MORE than Luna due to ruling for a 1000 years. Which is one of the huge issues of Luna retiring. They need to address the problem of Luna retiring instead of brushing it off. It does seem odd that neither sister is coming(unless they did in the next issue?). Really odd

This is a really nice episode for both Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich! My only question is why would the blushing be stroked with black? Blushes are supposed to be red! Do the artists know what a blush on a face looks like? I really enjoyed them hanging out here, the strokes of black blushes are just so distracting.

The Festival of the Two Sisters since they retired? That wasn't set up or build up as in the show! And if its the Festival of the Two Sisters then why are there three alicorns over there? Is Cadence a part of it even though its only called Festival of the two sisters? And seriously Celestia and Luna are Alicorns in retirement, Why would there be a celebration about them without them even being there? They are alicorns in retirement, They are not dead! They can still go and attend your celebration if you so wanted to! What is the point of all this? Its like if someone prepared a birthday party for me and celebrate it without me the celebrant being actually there! Seriously! What is the point of this celebration that was never mentioned or built up from the show? Where is the continuity I ask! Where is the continuity for Celestia's sake?!

Dude, I think what Twilight meant was that Celestia and Luna wouldn't be there to HELP OUT in the making of the festival. As I also don't see any point in preparing an important celebration for someone alive who simply, like, decides NOT to attend to, that's the conclusion I came up with (and I hope I'm not wrong, lol)

I have a issue with the festival due to it doesn't solve the issue of how DAY got love over night for a 1000 years. It doesn't fix the damage the Summer Sun Celebration had done. Along with Celestia would be remembered WAY WAY more than Luna due to the 1000 years deal. Meaning Luna is in Celestia's shadow hard here. They really need to address these issues of Luna retiring instead of freaking ignoring them.

I get that the speech bubble disappear at the end is a plot point for the next chapter but then I had to ask, Why is Derpy have a hammer? What is she doing in a construction site? Isn't she supposed to be a mailmare? Your either a mailmare or a construction worker, You can't be both. Where is the continuity from the show? It has always been established that her job is being a mailmare! Why would they allow a cross eyed mare to work in a construction site and work with a hammer? Why?

There’s a thing called assistance. You don’t necessarily have to be a construction worker to carry a hammer. Derpy was with the Wonderbolts back in the MLP movie during the song, “We got this together” that didn’t mean she was a Wonderbolt. She was just there to help
