Argamis (SilverComet) meh, the Shadowbolts would make a way better motorcycle gang. Not the EG Crystal Prep girls, I mean the three constructs NMM created. leader being "Nightshade" and of course the fan created OCs like Starry Skies and Charger and my personal fave Blueball Blitz! I'd love to see Scoots have a falling out with Dash and endup joining the Shadowbolts. but yeah the whole Motocross thing was entirely way over the top for a High School event.

I've always had a headcanon that before Vice Principal Luna ever became a school faculty member, she used to be a gang leader in her high school years. She led the original Shadowbolts back in the day as its first leader, nicknaming herself "Nightmare Moon" to try and be edgy. (They called her "Moon" for short sometimes... but never ever called her "Moonie" or they'd get their butts kicked.) She and the gang got busted when Celestia couldn't take seeing her sister destroy herself anymore and told the police. A few years in juvenile hall straightened Luna out and she decided to go into teaching in college. A few years later, she became a Vice Principal with Celestia as Principal.

Which isn't that impressive to be honest, Ponyville is a blip on the map, the only thing that makes it well known is the mane six and twilight (princess). I doubt it pays that well. That also raises a lot of questions, such as why is she the head weather pony in Ponyville? who appointed her? was she give the position becasue of her flight skill, cause it definitely wasn't because she passed flight school, etc. I still can;t get over that house, it not only doesn't fit dash's style, but it is way to lavished for her (or nay of their) lifestyles.

Ponyville was looked down on mostly by ponies who didn't know much about it. Zap Apples in particular are a prized commodity that only it produces. And given we don't know what properties or materials cost there, we can't say if Dash's house would be hard for her to pay for or not. Most of the structure is built from cloud so she wouldn't have had to pay for that, and she isn't exactly competing for space with anyone either. As for why she's the head weather pony, regardless of how she did in flight school I doubt anyone in Ponyville objected to having someone as skilled as her get the job. And its a cool house, why wouldn't Dash want a house as awesome as she is? She does have an extravagant sense of style, as shown way back with the design ideas she gave Rarity for the dress she was making her.

Man, me and conventions never work well together - the only thing I ever do is get completely fucking schnockered and act like an idiot. I went to babscon this year...the first night I was 16 drinks deep at Lost Narrator's midnight panel and I actually slid out of my seat and passed out on the floor. Some random dude sitting next to me woke me up. It was fucking embarrassing, but undeniably hilarious. Still had a great time though.
