Great explanation. In all my yars I have always felt that the inside of the blade which runs on the wheels and tires and therefore gets dull faster and begins to drift. Thank You!

Yeah, often it comes down to the sharpness of the blade to make a nice straight cut. Good explanation!

Although I’ve been in the construction industry my entire life at age 55 I decided to get in to finer woodworking. One thing I learned instantly was that woodworking is no different than any other hobby there are 1 million people doing it and 1 million opinions on the right way to do something . I do not have A bandsaw yet but I do enjoy watching your videos where you prove your point no moreOpinionated rhetoric and speculations just provable facts, I like it. My first purchase will be a little ripper after I can afford a quality bandsaw. Can those little cheap the benchtop bandsaws be tuned to actually do a decent job?

You can tune a Honda Civic to out perform a Dodge Charger. Depends on your money and time. Little ripper seems perfect for straight perfect cuts, but use dedicated blade and another for non straight. Or 2 bench saws.

Thank you I was also having that problem and wondered why. And yes did not ask because I am bull headed. I will get fresh blades and use them only with the Little Ripper

Well there ya go, I did not know that! Cheers for sharing that, mate. 👍 Sooo, in theory, if you then do the same to the other side of the blade, it'll cut somewhat straight/er?

Ran into a similar problem. Will get a new re-saw blade and give er a go again. Fingers crossed!!! :)

If you have been cutting circles on your bandsaw you have dulled one side of your blade. Take that blade out and replace it with a new blade for your straight cuts. Lable them and you will get full usage out of your blades and less frustration. And less waste
