Baby geese are such a blessing. I just love how much more social geese are compared to ducks

It depends upon how they are raised. Some ducks foster puppies. Some chicks are raised by common house cats and the cats raise the ducklings too. They all snuggle together to take their naps. I never knew this was possible. The kittens from the parents who fostered ducks and chickens from hatchlings, help to raise the next generation of chickens and ducks! Baby swans who are orphaned, come back and bring their mates to love on the humans who raised them too! Birds can form remarkable bonds with humans. There are many Magpies and Crows, even Ravens on YT, who have remarkable relationships with people and yet remain wild. Baby deer who some hunter has killed their mother, wander in to be adopted by a human family who see the fawn as lovable and raise the fawn and allow it to be a wild deer. And then the deer comes back to show off their fawns to the family who cared for them. Look for these videos, they are incredible. We need to see the animals differently, as those who may not speak, but who are worthy of love. In a day and age when we know how to make plants taste like about any animal, we do not have to eat them! I had crippling arthritis, quit eating animal protein as this is what causes Gout, so I now eat no animal protein and joyfully walk 5-6 miles a day! I celebrate that I do not have to be in a wheelchair the rest of my life. Animals to me are all to be loved. I do not need to eat them anymore than I love our dog and do not eat her! We can choose life, not just for ourselves, but also for animals and let them live! Even though I am Vegan for 10 years now, I do look at the number of animals we humans kill and needlessly, those farmed for food. It is even more horrific than human abortions! We can eat plants and be well and live to be the oldest populations free of disease and keeping our wits! Animal food is for carnivores. We do NOT have canines! These teeth we call “canines”, could not kill but can eat an apple! We need to stop the programming and think for ourselves!
