Stayed there a month ago for our 25th Anniversary! Third time in Cancun, by far the best stay we've had. Booked thru Costco Travel - 6 Days $2k for everything (FLT, Transfers, Resort). Going back next year to swim with the whale sharks...

Costco rocks for booking vacations. I gonna give this hotel a try, we did Ateliers and Xcaret thru costco so far.

@@mikejones5364 If you are into night life/partying Live Aqua is pretty chill, but can always head DT to the bars. Liked the adults only aspect of the place

@@mikejones5364 Same - but when we've stayed at other places they at least have bands or comics in the evenings, Live Aqua had a brass band 1 night & a local singer that played USA 60's motown -

Hi, I am going next month on vacation to this place but red it is non smoking hotel. Anyway is there any place in that hotel area to smoke at least cigar with my whisky ?

Hello, you will love it there!! As far as smoking I am not positive to tell you the truth. I just looked on the Live Aqua Facebook Page for info and they said: No smoking on balcony. There is a smoking area by the restrooms at Azur next to pool. Also outside on patio areas (main center doors and outside of AKA bar/Siete.

I am somewhat disappointed in this review. My wife and I just got here and the food situation greatly depends on the outdoor weather. We walked to several resteraunts and couldnt get a place to eat. We then ate at the seafood place only to be attacked my flying termite/ants snd seeing on the menu that if you wanted lobster tail you had to pay $33 for an upgrade. Not my definition of all inclusive. We also asked to do the aqua club upgrade on our existing room- only to be told that we had to do a room upgrade to- to an ocean front room for $67/night. We will not be back. Do yourself a favor and book a trip in palya del carmen, riviera, erc- but dont pick this place or cancun. The all inclusive resorts like excellence, paradisus, and breathless south of Cancun are far better. We have been there and know.

Hello Davey, I am sorry to hear you are not enjoying the Resort as much as I have. I can only give reviews based on my personal experiences and I honestly thought the Customer Service and food quality were excellent on both of our stays (Going back in 47 more days). As with any Hotel, Resort, Restaurant, etc...we will all have different experiences and expectations. I will agree with you that the few "upcharge" food items are annoying, but I did a lot of research before going the first time...so I knew it was the case. Honestly there was so much other food to choose from I didn't even want the upcharge items. We had either booked a Suite or an Ocean Front Room with the Aqua Club included (thru Costco) on both our trips. I hope your stay starts to improve. I have never been to the other places you mentioned, we will put those on our list to compare and I'll do a video review at those too :)
