I appreciate you bro! You've been telling it with the Zzounds stuff. Hope you're doing well also!

Already said it in the original video, but I've heavily based my own rig over this! Thanks a lot!

You RULE! Thank you so much for coming back and for continuing to support.

@@GerryTrevinoGear My pleasure ;) But i got a little confused in the timeline with the reupload of old videos and the new videos; it seems to me that you changed your live setup again and are not using the helix rack anymore? Or did I got this wrong?

Cool to see how far the rig has come along, as well as everything that makes your music legendary. 😊

I appreciate you always! Thank so much for watching.

Super helpful, man. I had no idea you could control Ableton using the floor control unit - that's a game-changer.

Haha I appreciate it! 🤘 Thank you for watching.

Can you use the breakout stereo cable to your backing tracks to FOH? So you can only hand one xlr to FOH?
@GerryTrevinoGear17 сағат бұрын
In that case, handing one XLR to FOH would just end up being a summed mono source, something I wouldn't really recommend.
@juanmigueltee69459 сағат бұрын
@GerryTrevinoGear thank you for sharing! Awesome setup regardless!
@juanmigueltee694519 күн бұрын
Do you split the signal? So that the FOH has a separate mix? Or you just mix it by yourself?
@GerryTrevinoGear17 сағат бұрын
FOH gets all of the different sources separately (tracks, guitar, etc.) so I leave it to the sound guy to mix. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Nice video man! One question, how did you get the midi mappings to stay on the top line? I had to assign the mappings to all scenes from helix.. I found out that when my scene changes i no longer had the buttons available, only on scene 1 :)))) And as i use 7 scenes it sucked as i had to repeat the same midi messages on the buttons 7 times

Thank you so much! To do this go to Global Settings > Footswitches > Preset Mode Switches and set that to Stomp/Preset to make it look like mine. Keep in mind that I'm currently not using snapshots. To get seamless switching with presets I do have Preset Spillover turned on. I hope that helps!

Sorry but why we should be interested in your gear?. Are you a kind of guitar hero? I don't think so.

totally just flipping through youtube, seen this page, normally i dont bother with new channels, but im a Helix LT/Native player myself, also looking to buy a macbook pro for recording setup, im surprised that your using a 2011 macbook pro in 2024, you should make a video of the pros and cons of that setup, like what else can the macbook be used for, any issues getting downloads to work? got a few questions here lol, ill be watching

Thank you for watching! I was using a 2011 MacBook Pro only really because that's why I had as a spare. I didn't ever wanna take out my main editing machine for a show. I have since upgraded to a 2015 MacBook Pro.
